The east side of the city is often considered the heart of Sacrosanct. It's here were the majority of the shopping district can be found, deep in the heart of downtown. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often times, new comers to the city may be come overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever present feeling that's hardly noticed. The streets of the east side are frequented by all species as many companies are housed in the sky scrapers and hole in the wall establishments that line the streets.

    Downtown

The city has a unique skyline, clashing between modern sky rises and small victorian storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however.

AJ had found her way back towards the bar just as the woman came out from wherever she was hiding. A smirk rest on her lips as she studied the woman for a few seconds, it seemed that she had found whoever was in charge. Her tongue brushed over her lips as she decided to get down to business, because if she could get a job here then she wouldn’t have to search much longer.

“You can, actually. I heard that you guys needed a bartender, and I’m a damn good one.”

It was bold starting off like that, but the witch didn’t see the point in playing sweet. If she was going to get a job here, it was important that whoever ran this place knew that she could handle herself. She knew that it rubbed people the wrong way more often than not, but she didn’t care. She was who she was, bold and fearless, and she quickly learned to highlight those traits when looking for jobs in places such as this.

Arms crossed over her chest as she fixed the woman with her gaze, making sure that she knew there was no way to intimidate her. She didn’t think that intimidation was this woman’s thing, but looks could always be deceiving. Her tongue brushed over her lips and she glanced over the bar area, long limbs carrying her to the backside. Slender fingers traced over the wooden bar top, and she glanced over the bottles decorating the wall and the ones beneath the bar. She straightened up, palms pressed flat against the bar as she once again focused on the brunette.

“You are the person in charge, right? I don’t want to waste my time talking to someone who likes to play boss.”
