    The East

The east side of the city is often considered the heart of Sacrosanct. It's here were the majority of the shopping district can be found, deep in the heart of downtown. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often times, new comers to the city may be come overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever present feeling that's hardly noticed. The streets of the east side are frequented by all species as many companies are housed in the sky scrapers and hole in the wall establishments that line the streets.

    Downtown

The city has a unique skyline, clashing between modern sky rises and small victorian storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however.

He could tell she was nervous about her feeding techniques but he was intrigued by them. It was so different, so curious. He was going to stay close to her no matter what, trying to reassure her. He would have her back as her friend and as a member of her coven. He noted that she always seemed to choose the people who were outgoing and rambunctious, this man being no different. He wondered if it made it easier for her to feed on him. As she pulled back, he could sense the shift in her personality even as her eyes fluttered open as if she were waking up for the first time today. He could sense a new confidence in her. It was so interesting the way her powers worked. She was instantly bored with the human man as well, practically leaping to her feet after kissing his cheek with a restless energy to be anywhere else but here. Damon would go anywhere with her if only to see what she could accomplish now.

He offered his arm and she took it much quicker this time, waving a farewell to the man who seemed to be waking out of a stupor as we walked away. She all but dragged him out the door but at least it wasn't because she was being shy about something. She was just excited to go have some fun and Damon couldn't blame her there. He asked where she wanted to go but she wasn't in a hurry to answer, instead walking down the street seemingly with no direction as she grew thoughtful. She was like a child with no destination in mind, but he couldn't stop grinning as he watched her. He saw her eying the bars and wondered if she was in a dancing mood. He certainly didn't mind. He was told he was quite the dancer himself and he had adapted his style over the centuries. He knew everything from simple ballroom dancing to waltzes and salsas to the more modern thing they call booty dancing for women and even some break dancing, not that he did that a whole lot.

He could mold himself to any woman's dancing as he'd shown Edie that night he took her out on the town. He wondred vaguely how different Yumi would be now that she had fed in a bar setting but it seemed she had something else in mind. Her gaze wandered over to him thoughtfully and he raised a brow in question, wondering what was going through her pretty little mind. Suddenly she stopped with a grin and exclaimed that she had an idea. He gave her an indulging smile.

"I'm all ears."

What she said next made him laugh out loud as he shook his head, his brows furrowed with a serious face.

"Oh, I assure you I've had way more practice at Guitar Hero than you could ever imagine. I also have an angel's voice when I sing so you might become mesmerized, just a warning."

He gave a teasing wink. Then she even made the offer that much sweeter, adding in Isolt and Red on the Water. Who's this Malek? He raised a brow, totally curious now. Did she have relations with this guy? Now he felt like the protective big brother who wanted to question this guy about just what he intended with Yumi. He wasn't about to turn down the offer. He grinned.

"I couldn't agree more. Sounds like a plan then. Red on the Water, it is."

It was only a few blocks away so they could be there in no time. Hopefully Isolt still had plenty of his favorite Bourbon on the shelf cause he might be emptying at least one bottle tonight.
