Often times, new comers to the city may be come overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever present feeling that's hardly noticed. The streets of the east side are frequented by all species as many companies are housed in the sky scrapers and hole in the wall establishments that line the streets.

    Downtown

The city has a unique skyline, clashing between modern sky rises and small victorian storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however.

AMOR MARCEL CONSTANS
THE BEAST INSIDE OF ME IS GONNA GET YOU
v a m p i r e

There was no moment to be had, that was clear before he assaulted her lips with his own. The kiss wasn’t for her, wasn’t for them, it was for Amor and Amor alone. Especially as she viberates with the very hate of his selfishness – especially when she denies the true intention behind the disappearing act. She had every right to be treating him this way and beneath the centuries of filth that has blackened his very soul he knows it. Still he dies for the understanding that she so fiercely denies him. However, he knew that this was as possible as his apology.

She had become him in many ways; unforgiving, unmoving, relentless, stubborn, headstrong. Whatever you want to call it, she had caught his fire. It roared and merely met the temperatures of his own inferno. She was potentially wicked and now he stood against a real challenge. He had stolen her life, made it his own and soon she molded like clay. She had fallen for her captor but now, now she was nearly unbreakable. The woman she was today would have to be broken down and built back up. And if she were but a stranger, he would just drag her home like he once did. But if there was ever a soft spot in Amor, it was Harley.

Not that she could even tell.

But judging a fish how he climbs a tree really isn’t all that fair.

Is it?

If she wanted him to spill his heart out to her, flood the alleyway with his remorse just to prove his honesty then she was a fool. Amor was fully convinced she would not walk away if he were to set her down. She needed reassurance but to know Amor is to know that it came over time with his actions. That he had turned to stone long ago. That he is more of a monster now than he once was. And those moments of her tearing him down, he realized that he was no good for her. And those moments, she had provoked his heart instead of puncturing like she desired.

But she would have the satisfaction of assuming she hurt him. But not without his own contentment. His eyes flicker between hers, his eyes grow void and his face emotionless. Silence hangs between them, despite the rain that pours around them. Water streams down his face, collects in his lashes and drenches his hair. Finally he forces her head to the side and his fangs prick her skin. Sinking them further, he holds her tighter against the wall as she was sure to protest. Her blood fills his mouth and he indulges in the taste – just long enough for the euphoria to overcome her before he suddenly drops her.

He looks down on her a moment more before walking away, around the corner and back toward his bar. As much as he wanted the indulge in Harlequin on his lips, he had to wash it away with Grey Goose before it drives him mad.
