    The East

The east side of the city is often considered the heart of Sacrosanct. It's here were the majority of the shopping district can be found, deep in the heart of downtown. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often times, new comers to the city may be come overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever present feeling that's hardly noticed. The streets of the east side are frequented by all species as many companies are housed in the sky scrapers and hole in the wall establishments that line the streets.

    Downtown

The city has a unique skyline, clashing between modern sky rises and small victorian storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

The Macedonian King was well aware of his young daughters capabilities, her ability to simply understand the complexities of life were so largely fitting, given that very trait Alexander himself had near notoriously had. Even so, he had quite purposefully left out the details of his relationship with the young woman at his side, fruitless though he was certain it was. It was hardly out of any sort of shame for the were-woman. Quite the contrary, he knew well the sort of vixen the Russian woman was capable of being and, to be frank, he was rather certain that Alexis was unprepared for that sharp mind and keen tongue his own daughter held. He was hardly oblivious, all the same, to the effect that introduction had upon Alexis, even as the Dark Hunter found himself inquiring in that Russian tongue of that very quest that had brought Anastasia to that bustling metropolis within the first place. A small frown marred his features at that response he was given and yet, he could glean no further from it then what Alexander himself was not already aware of. Even so, tonight, at least, he hardly saw fit to pry, certainly not with Alexis' own comment of that transition to that foreign tongue.

Alexander could hardly help his own sigh that left his lips as Alexis moved away from him, collecting those cups only to set about brewing that coffee in that fashion he had taught her to do. That warm cup placed in front of him hardly helped to soothe that prickly soul, the hunter instead merely content to let the contents of that coffee swirl within his much was a small shift of his wrist. This conversation required far more oversight than he liked, particularly considering the simple fact that this was, perhaps, the first time the age old King had seen fit to court any being since Anastasia's own "birth". That rather abrupt language lesson from the lips of his protege caused the man's blue-green gaze to shift from one woman to the next. He leaned forward just enough to rest his cheek upon the palm of his hand. He was hardly surprised that Anastasia was willing to oblige Alexis within those curiosities that clearly lingered within the woman's mind and yet, it was that mention of her fingers that caused his eyebrows to furrow and his lips to press together in a hard line.

That almost critical gaze turned from Anastasia to the were-woman herself, his gaze ever acute as it slid down Alexis' figure, clearly attempting to glean the source of that very action that Anastasia had picked up on so effortlessly. He could hardly help that hint of concern that blossomed within him and yet, the Greek man hardly intervened just yet. After all, those two women were perhaps the only women in the world he still held any hint of care for. As much as he despised it, he was resigned to merely watching as that 'game' of sorts unfolded whilst the pair so clearly tested one another.
