    The East

The east side of the city is often considered the heart of Sacrosanct. It's here were the majority of the shopping district can be found, deep in the heart of downtown. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often times, new comers to the city may be come overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever present feeling that's hardly noticed. The streets of the east side are frequented by all species as many companies are housed in the sky scrapers and hole in the wall establishments that line the streets.

    Downtown

The city has a unique skyline, clashing between modern sky rises and small victorian storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however.

((silly Eddie posted before me so this is supposed to happen right after Malia's reply XD))

Frankly, the dark hunter wasn't entirely sure what to make of this pair that he happened to share space with. Dark forest eyes watch the Irishman with only faint interest, wondering if perhaps he might be able to make the a game out of trying to piss him off. He seemed too cool, too... together, like he was right where he wanted to be in life - or he was at least on the right track. And let's just admit it, Lazarus was far from put together. The loss of his parents had been a huge blow to him, metaphorically and almost physical shaking the very ground his feet had once stood so firmly on only for it to fall away beneath him. He'd never admit how hard he took the death of his parents out loud. Not to Ellie, and especially not to these two strangers he knew nothing about nor did he have the desire to stop and do so. He was here just for the liquor and food, though he wouldn't turn down some pleasurable company if he were able to sweet talk any of the pretty women that might come in. So far, there wasn't much here in this pub to look at. Malia was pretty he supposed, but the more time he spent sitting here at the bar doing small talk when it really was the his forte, the less appealing trying to get her to sleep with him became. His attention just wasn't into the idea of sex tonight it seemed.

Killian sits there, sipping on that liquor like fine wine and something about it just... aggravates him. That kind smile and those warm eyes, that rich accept that he was sure could win himself the affections any woman he so decided to speak with (despite something about the warlock suggesting that he was more into men than women). Everything about this guy was practically the image of everything that Lazarus wasn't and perhaps for one reason or another it translated into his mind that the Irishman thought himself better than Lazarus. Well, the man with messy caramel colored locks would be more than happy to go toe to toe with Killian right here, right now though he could tell that it would take me than he cared to put effort into to try and wile the man up enough so that he decided to try and throw a swing at Lazarus. Maybe he just needed to go and find Donovan, they could find a nice strip club and do shots together. Anything sounded more amusing than sitting here with some high class guy and a girl that just seemed to be missing something. He needed something a little more exciting, something thrilling. Hell, maybe he'd even go hunting tonight if Donovan was too preoccupied chasing himself a little tail as well tonight. He'd need to remind himself to tell his only friend from the past about this stand-up guy he nearly offered his phone number to. That could prove to provoke a good tussle with the were cheetah, and even that sounded better than being here at this point.

Malia is speaking now and Lazarus moves those dark forest eyes to the pretty woman as she asks Killian a peculiar question that causes his brow to lift in question. How did she not know what he was referring to? Was she really that behind with today's lingo? And even then, that phrase was plenty outdated, so maybe she was just too young to know it. Who knows, who cares... Lazarus didn't. Considering that the question was not aimed at him, he simply lifts the glass to his lips and downs the rest of the whiskey. It is when she speaks again, this time with a question in the direction of the hooded man, that dark forest eyes return to earthen browns. His eyes narrowed slightly at this point as he tries to contemplate if she were simply being a smartass or if she genuinely wasn't getting the hint. Was she a dyed blonde? She rattles on for a bit about her whole contemplation, a light seeing to go off as she realizes what he'd been trying to do before going off on how his way of asking was corny and confusing. At this he only smirks wickedly. Yeah, he wouldn't be taking her home but that was perfectly alright in his book. She talked a bit too much. He preferred his women a little quieter in the talking aspect, but there she went on to another subject so full of questions that he almost didn't even know how to go about answering. How did she not know how old she was? And how did she not know about brand? She turns to Killian who lowers his head into those hands of his for a moment before suddenly the Irishman is talking to Lazarus now, describing him as a metaphorical rose. Well, that was a first. The man gives Killian the same wicked and wolfish grin and moves to stand up, patting Killian on the shoulder."Well, this has been... fun. Thanks for the drink, and have fun with this one", he says lazily before gesturing over to Malia. He gives her a saucy wink and before either of them can say anything else, he walks over to the door and exists the pub. It was time to find some real action elsewhere.
