    The North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high class victorian architecture. The streets are paved with stone, the buildings are made of brick, and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting. In the North every establishment is made to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - weather it be illegal or merely looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allow them the luxuries that the North provides.

death incarnate & night triumphant

A wicked smile is dancing across his lips as she responds quickly, that sarcasm so coating her lyrics. Yes, she did have a devilish tongue still, perhaps forked every once in a while but Andras was pleased to see she hadn’t changed much, perhaps she had just finally grown into her role. “Ah, I never expected you to be sorry, though I dream about your lips frequently,” he offers her a devilish smile. Though it was a lie, it was a game they had always played, a game of words, something to pass the time; something to keep them distracted from their miserable lives. Though, neither of them had such terribly miserable lives now.

Watching her stand and move away from the table, he notes the way how very queenly she looks as she stares over the balcony, her arms outstretched as she regards the patrons. It takes him only a moment to realize his mistake as Eve’s entire demeanor changes in a span of a second. Listening to her as she states that he is wrong, so very wrong, he merely watches that face become closed off, cruel as she explains to him how very dead Marek was prior to his actual death. Letting his features fall into a neutral mask, she watches her intently, the way her eyes ripple in that anger she held so buried within her.

When she allows that humorless laugh to escape those lips, he pushes away from his own chair and strolls casually over towards her, until he’s standing in front of her, his body heat soaking up any coldness around the woman, their bodies merely inches away from each other. Andras never minded invading other people’s space. When she finishes speaking, the male gives a nod in agreement, that dangerous smirk dancing upon those lips once more. His midnight eyes watch her as she finishes. Letting his long finger trail up to her face, he’s careful not to touch her skin, but simply tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, his other hand finding a position on the rail behind her as he takes another step forward, their bodies very nearly brushing.

He could feel the heat from Eve’s body soak into him, though he’s very careful to not lay a hand on her, yet. “I’m quite glad you took matters into your own hands and destroyed him,” he purrs down at her, those hazel eyes darkening as they travel her features. Though, he’s entirely aware of the waiter as he returns, Andras simply ignores him until he sets the drinks on the table behind him and leaves, eyes never leaving Eve’s face. Glad for the change of subject, he doesn’t move from his position, he simply stays there as she purrs back at him. Allowing an airy chuckle to escape his lips, “Hmm, I very much doubt you would be do any of the work as far as the latter is concerned,” he responds, “As far as the former, well, you will be compensated however you see fit, whether it’s in the bedroom or outside of it,” he states amused, though there’s honesty coating his lyrics. He wouldn’t allow his court to go without proper compensation.

That seductive smile that so plays on her lips has Andras responding with one of his own. This time, when he reaches up his calloused fingers, her brushes a thumb across her lower lip gently. “As much as I would enjoy reminding you just why you should work for me on this table behind me, I think I would prefer to have you in a bed so that I might take my time with you,” he says darkly, that wicked half smile tugging at his features, his thumb pausing its stroke as it remains lightly against her lip. “Perhaps you will dismiss your security and I shall take you home to do just that? Unless you have more… important matters to finish up.”
