    The North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high class victorian architecture. The streets are paved with stone, the buildings are made of brick, and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting. In the North every establishment is made to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - weather it be illegal or merely looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allow them the luxuries that the North provides.

death incarnate & night triumphant

The teasing note the coats Andras’s lyrics is returned as a small smile quirks at the corner of his lips. No, he doesn’t mind the man before him. Andras merely gives him a small shrug, “Perhaps,” he purrs, as he swirls the amber liquid in his glass, his attention fully on the Fae man before him. Though, their conversation shifts into the reason why the High Lord was really here. He didn’t care to beat around the bush, instead he would be straight forward and if he was denied, then so be it. So, the faerie explains himself, tells Troy about his destroyed court and what he wanted to recreate. He even goes as far as to inquire about the Faerie Queen who once ruled a monarch.

The news of the queen’s boyfriend being murdered in front of her was something new to Andras. Something he didn’t quite expect. His brows draw inward and into a frown as he contemplates the connection but finding none. The attack wasn’t on the court itself, it seemed like she merely skipped town. Shrugging the thought away, he gives a small sigh. “I doubt that I would want to be around either,” he comments, finding a bit of sympathy with the woman who left. Letting those dark hazel eyes find Troy’s once more, he listens to the questions the man provides him. Fair enough. “I am darkness,” he states, his words holding nothing of conceit, a mere statement, honesty for honesty, this is what he would do, “The court name has been handed down millennia after millennia, it has helped deter those away who wished me and mine harm,” he shrugs.

“Though it didn’t save the destruction of my court several centuries ago,” he comments, his eyes growing dark with the memories. It’s an effort to push those thoughts away, as they linger in the back of his mind, an ever present memory that so haunted his waking dreams. “There are more precautions now, I have the ability to shield my court now,” the man is vague but he couldn’t entirely tell Troy the extent of his powers unless the Fae and his family planned on joining him. He would always put the safety of his court first, never again would he allow that destruction to happen.

A seriousness takes over his mask as he inspects his fellow faerie, he was wary. Good.

The next question was expected as well. He had done his research on the man. Finding information on him was far easier than any of the other faeries he had met. Not because the man wasn’t careful, he had merely been in Sacrosanct longer than any of the other faeries he had come across. A small, but genuine smile tugs on his lips as Troy voices that concern that so plagued the man. A small dip of his head is offered towards Troy, “Yes, I know what your family consists of,” he pauses giving the man a chance to question him further before continuing,

“Your family would not be the first non-faerie I have offered my protection to. Dorian and his soon to be husband have been given protection. Your families will be welcome within my court. I trust the members of my family to trust their partners, however, they do remain your responsibility. Though, my court is entirely capable of taking care of themselves so should there ever be a problem I expect it will work itself out,” he grins at the man. “Should you accept my offer you and your family will receive lodging and protection within my court. No one is allowed into my… domain without my permission,” Andras hints at that power he was so capable of wielding, though he doesn’t elaborate on it.

“I assume you have your own accommodations but if you ever feel unsafe or need to get away from Sacrosanct you will have your own quarters in my lodge.”
