    The North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high class victorian architecture. The streets are paved with stone, the buildings are made of brick, and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting. In the North every establishment is made to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - weather it be illegal or merely looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allow them the luxuries that the North provides.

Sebastian Ellington

I thought you knew I was filthy rich
I thought you knew I never answer my phone
I thought you knew I was a late night with a bad bite I thought you knew.

That concern upon the young woman's features was only subtly hidden beneath that weak simper she offered him. He was hardly oblivious to that weariness that seemed to pour from the depths of her eyes - he had seen that look far too many times for it to pass unnoticed. Even so, Sebastian scarcely saw a reason to call her out on such feelings, providing her with his best attempts of politeness as he offered her his congratulations on achieving what most deemed impossible. This was certainly a reason for celebration, even if he was hardly ignorant enough to know of the many of his kind that surely would have murdered for what she had so accidentally been gifted with. That guarded question that left her lips was hardly surprising really and yet, it saw him pause ever so slightly. "Ahh...well...as I mentioned before, your Troy is...close, I assume, with my boyfriend Dorian…" Did that alone not answer her question? A small frown crossed his features as he paused to clarify. "Troy told Dorian, Dorian told me and now...here we are. Though, I can understand your wish for….secrecy. I assure you, neither Dorian nor myself wish anything but the best for you both." It was, perhaps, the most clandestine sort of way he could suggest that her secret was altogether safe with him. After all, it wasn't as if he particularly socialized with his own kind enough to speak of a child born to a vampire.

For perhaps the first time in a long while, the vampire found himself near uncertain of himself. He was usually, by nature, entirely alluring, thanks to those affinities he simply avoided employing. Sleeping with her was easy, befriending her was decidedly more difficult. His gaze shifted from her only to note the store they stood in front of, the clientele it served quite clear from the mannequins in front of it. "Ah...I didn't mean to interrupt your evening, I apologize, unless you need any sort of help?" He nodded briefly to the store beside them. After all, it sold far more than just clothes and a woman in her position, regardless of that strength their species held, was surely in no condition to lug anything of any real weight back to wherever she lived. He was certainly going beyond the call of duty and yet, to have one of Dorian's friends not utterly hate him was certainly worth the extra time it would take.
