    The North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high class victorian architecture. The streets are paved with stone, the buildings are made of brick, and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting. In the North every establishment is made to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - weather it be illegal or merely looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allow them the luxuries that the North provides.

FOR ALL THE SINNERS PLAYING SAINT24.34.233.58Posted On May 23, 2017 at 7:37 PM by ESHEK

Eshek is the dark, dark depth in their sea of lambs. She's the fire to chase away the meek monsters of the night. It's her eyes that glimmer in the soft, bar light brighter than all the others. They turn beckoning and hooded as the hunter comes closer to the glitter of her flames.

And when the girl sits Eshek turns to her with a smile and the drink in her hand sizzles and evaporates to steam and nothing. “You,” She reaches out for Mazikeen's hand and only traces fingertips across the web of bones and veins beneath the girl's flesh. “I would remember.” Eshek's touch is lingering and she's slow to move her hand back to the intricate beading of her dress. Beneath the silk the copper dragon tattoo burns and tingles as she swallows a taste of the hunter, alcohol and salty skin.

“Call me Eshek.” The smile on her lips is as dangerous as it is endless.

It's not the music that washes over Eshek. Potential crests over her skin and the music is nothing more than a prophecy of the things that ebb and flow in the bottomless galaxy of her soul. The silence between them is not easy; it's alive and thrumming with fate.

She doesn't order another drink but slides the soiled glass across the bar to the too busy bartender. “I've been from here long enough.” The words are strange but they seem fitting in the abyss of her attention. “What is it that you're looking for Mazikeen?” Her stare is penetrating and it traces the way the beer runs down the hunter's throat into the very center of her mortal body.

And as the song changes the wood beneath Eshek's hand smolders and smokes in patterns far older than anything is this poor, rotten world.
