    The North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high class victorian architecture. The streets are paved with stone, the buildings are made of brick, and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting. In the North every establishment is made to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - weather it be illegal or merely looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allow them the luxuries that the North provides.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

A glimpse was all that was given in the direction of the ivory steed as the equine relinquished to his command and briefly he watched through the snow collecting on his eyelashes as the boy hurried to strap up the chestplate. His attention, however, hardly lingered long upon the child as he did his work, instead shifting back to the folded paper that flipped in the wind and the small device that was shoved into his hand. A small frown crossed Alexander's lips as he listened to the huntress' voice over the howl of the wind. He glanced at the small device in his hand as she continued, watching the digital readout on the frosted screen that pointed him directly through a typographical map of white. "We'll be fine." Alexander responded, his voice entirely confident of his abilities. After all, he'd led more men then this through these dangerous mountains to besiege a city in the dead of winter with naught but the stars to guide them through foreign territory. In comparison, this should be a fairly easy task - though it certainly helped to reinforce the man's hatred of this dreadful country. The cold was exactly why Alexander hadn't stepped foot in Siberia since the 17th century.

His attention shifted from the memories that had long since past as the boy approached him with a rope in hand, his gaze drifted towards the equine attached to the other end. Frankly, he could hardly disagree with them. Frost was relatively useless in the blizzard that blew around them. His blue-green gaze however, narrowed at the boy's idle comment on his height, a growl crossed his features. "No." The words were blunt from his lips, the man forced himself to stop the words that came to the forefront of his mind, the ancient greece curses lingering on his tongue. Instead, despite the Stay Puft Marshmallow man he'd become, Alexander had little difficulty lifting himself up on the spine of the equine. His strength was still greater than the layers of jackets he'd momentarily donned. It took him a moment to be able to settle upon Frost's back, a disgruntled look crossing his face. He hated these stupid fluffy jackets as much as he hated Siberia itself.

Alexander's blue-green gaze shifted from the steed, his glance turning towards Cassandra only for his mouth to open the moment he saw her position behind Frost. Unfortunately, Alexander hardly had the chance to warn her before her hand touched Frost's flank.Alexander had only the barest of moments to brace before the equine shot forward, his feet momentarily leaving the ground as he did so. The Dark Hunter's gaze glanced behind him, his eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly at the drowned out sound of Cassandra's shouting. It was a shame things had gone so south, he was quite fond of the the Dark Huntress. "Stop it.", Alexander hissed as he rode through the equine's bucking. He waited till the creature's pace had begun to slow, the wind no longer cutting through the multiple layers. A soft sigh left his lips at the sound of Frost's voice filled his head, the man reached into his pocket to fetch the GPS, he nodded ever so slightly as his right leg pushed into the steed ever so slightly, readjusting their forward movement. "That way...let's go.". The thought lingered with surprising focus, fully willing to let the horse set the speed.
