    The North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high class victorian architecture. The streets are paved with stone, the buildings are made of brick, and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting. In the North every establishment is made to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - weather it be illegal or merely looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allow them the luxuries that the North provides.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

Sebastian was entirely thankful that the prospect of ice cream so managed to entice the young girl beside him, a warm smile lighting up his charming features as she uttered her interest within it. There was, perhaps though not particularly advertised, far more places that catered to the supernatural species then most often realized. Ice cream, although but a poor example of it, was something Sebastian was certain he was capable of finding for the young child overseas, even if it required special arrangements to be made. Thankfully, the notion of such a chilled treat was enough to allow Sebastian to further lead the child onto the plane, regardless of the earlier fear he could tell gripped her heart. It was, in a way, entirely clear to him, even if he had hardly known her for any real length of time. At the very least, her body language hardly made any efforts to veil the thoughts that pierced her brain or the moods that she so often tumbled through. If anything could be said of the Victorian man, it was that he was extremely proficient in reading those subtle signs that so unconsciously afflicted the physics of others.

Sebastian settled into the plush leather seat, placing the seatbelt across his lap with the sort of ease only achieved by someone who flew quite frequently. His own gaze slowly drifted towards the child across the row from him, watching as so so diligently placed her doll within the seat next to them, ensuring both were completely strapped in and ready for the flight that laid before them. It still caught him off guard, the way the girl who was so infinitely older than him still seemed nearly suspended within her youth. He shook his head ever so slightly, pushing such thoughts of how far his maker had fallen into the back of his head before the stewardess momentarily paused next to them only to provide Anna-Marie with her own array of entertainment for the duration of the extraordinarily long flight. He could hardly deny he was thankful for the woman for taking his forewarning of Anna-Marie's nature so seriously. A small simper of gratitude was provided towards her before the woman stepped away to busy herself with final preparations for the flight to come.

Not but moments later, the plane began to move it's way onto the runway, taking up its position as it prepared for take off. The cabin began to shake slightly as the jet began to get up to speed and yet it was Anna-Marie's chant that drew Sebastian's attention. Nearly immediately he began to alter those chemicals within the young girl, drawing her attention, and her gaze entirely towards him. "I know this is scary Anna, but it's almost offer." He offered softly, still providing the child with those warm simpers the man was so known for within the court of his own era. "Why don't you tell me about that doll of yours?" He inquired, hoping a topic of more interest would perhaps distract the girl from the plane as it began to level out and the ground quickly began to fade away into indistinguishable colors of ebony.

It was only once they had come to cruising altitude that Sebastian released his hold upon the young girl, letting those emotions and thoughts return to their natural state, as dangerous as it might have been to do so. A soft breath of air left his lips as she turned back towards her coloring book and for a moment, the vampire simply sat there and watched her with a state of weariness before, in time, finding himself distracted with something of his own interest - a book he'd downloaded upon his own cell phone just before take off for the long flight ahead. Several hours later, a small frown had settled on Sebastian's mouth as he flipped to the next page, uttering under his breath how utterly idiotic Jean Claude was to get involved with Anita and Richard in the first place when he had Asher at his side.

It was only the sound of Anna-Marie's exasperated voice that drew Sebastian's attention from the screen in front of him. He glanced at the watch on his wrist, a small frown crossing his lips. "A bit longer still. Here, why don't you play hopscotch while they get our dinner ready." He reached up, pressing the light for the waitress overhead whist calling for his own affinity in those same moments. Those red threads of his nearly instantly blossomed to life in perfect put together squares on the floor of the large row between them, creating the perfect pattern for the young girl to busy herself with. The stewardess glanced towards Sebastian from the back of the flight, the man briefly mentioning towards her and quickly she rushed to pull out those bags of blood from the refrigerator of the plane, busying herself not only with warming them but too, finding the most exciting crazy straw she could purely for Anna-Marie's amusement.
