    The North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high class victorian architecture. The streets are paved with stone, the buildings are made of brick, and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting. In the North every establishment is made to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - weather it be illegal or merely looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allow them the luxuries that the North provides.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

It was true that the ribbons were perhaps his newest and most difficult of affinities, the vampire having spent a significant amount of time in truly learning the depths of what he could and could not do with them. However, the simple ability to create squares were entirely within his realm of abilities, bringing them to life for Anna-Marie to see, however, took decidedly more effort. Nevertheless, they blossomed to life under his meticulous eye, a game meant solely for his maker's presence. His own head bobbed ever so slightly at the young girl's inquiry. In a way, Sebastian could hardly deny that he was, perhaps, a bit proud that he was capable of this, as silly as it was. Perhaps it was that connection to the young girl but the way she so seemed to delight in this somehow brought him a sense of...joy. It was peculiar, given his own difficult emotions regarding her and the games she had so forced him to play with her. Still, he placed his phone down just enough to watch the girl as she sung out her nursery rhyme, her feet moving effortlessly in the squares he created. Unfortunately - that moment was altogether fleeting at best.

There was no denying that blood the stewardess presented them with was altogether unappetizing at best. It smelled funny, it would taste funny, and he was sure it would hardly be as enjoyable coursing through his veins. Still, he needed to eat, as did the child and this, he was sure, was the best he could achieve given their rather limited options. However, the man was all too aware of that look of disgust that too crossed the features of the young child beside him. Despite this recognition, Sebastian hardly had a moment to react before the older vampire charged upon the stewardess herself. A soft curse left his lips as he jumped to his feet, making his way down the aisle. His red threads seemed to disappear into oblivion for anyone beside himself, his own affinity of pheromones so flaring to life once again. He should have seen this coming, he should have known this was going to happen and yet….he couldn't help but to hope that maybe this would work. Next time he'd have to bring an animal and leave the stewardess. Maybe like a dog or something. Still, it hardly helped that scowl that settled on his features as Sebastian kneeled beside the fallen woman, his affinity so abruptly embracing the child herself.

Sebastian himself could smell the blood that caked the stewardess' head, and yet, despite his own urges flaring to life, the man denied them with such spectacular self control. Instead, his attention was wholly upon Anna Marie. "Doll." He voiced softly, using those same charming tones he so often utilized, "I know you're hungry and I know you don't like that blood but I cannot let you kill her, she doesn't deserve that. She has a little girl at home just like you who is waiting for her mother to return." The words were gilded lies, the man hardly knowing even a bit about this woman's life and yet, manipulation was his only true intent. "I will let you eat from her but I will not let you kill her, do you understand?" There was a firmness now that edged his tone and he slowly moved to the fallen woman's head. He gingerly picked up her head just enough to settle on her lap, the man gingerly brushing her hair to the side only to expose her neck to the child. He knew well he was dancing upon that line, trusting his abilities and his maker and yet, he saw little other option given the circumstances. Somehow, he doubted that even his affinities make her want to please him would manage to coax her to be satisfied with just the blood he'd given her, especially not with the scent of this filling their cabin.
