Of the many things that bothered Anna, being questioned was one of them. Dorian was careful not to outright tell the volatile vampire against taking Sebastian after her own assailant, however, it did question the need for him all the same. Anna’s brows furrowed only briefly in dislike for the question until her attention was luckily shifted to the prospect of playing tea party. That sounded much more fun then going over the event that had taken place earlier with a servant. No, only Sebastian would be the one she cared to dwell about it to.

A soft scoff of disbelief passed her lips at Dorian’s admittance of not having been a servant for very long. Inept servants were of little importance to her...highly replaceable. Why Sebastian would have a servant who didn’t know what they were doing was beyond Anna. However, she supposed that interrogation was best brought up with Sebastian and for now she would have to make due with the cards that were dealt to her. Anna took Dorian’s offered hand as they moved into the kitchen. How to explain making tea was the next task though it was actually harder to do than it sounded. She knew how tea came about but explaining it was hard. There was the pot...check...and now for the tea. The little vampire’s sapphire gaze eyed the fae man with suspicion as he mirrored that suspicion at the stove. Even if she couldn’t cook at least she wasn’t afraid of the modern day kitchen appliances. “You don’t pretend tea party. You have to have real tea and cookies.”

While Anna huffed her response at Dorian she moved along the perimeter searching for said tea leaves. Although Sebastian had no need for food besides blood it was obvious from his collection of tea pots that there was tea somewhere. Not to mention that the servants had to have food kept in the house for themselves as well. Anna had just pilfered the pantry when Dorian managed to light the stove ablaze with a shout of horror. It was with stone faced amusement that Anna brought a small sugared tea cookie to her lips as she stared back at Dorian when he glanced to her. He was an odd one. “You don’t know how to do a lot.” Anna commented with a raised brow of confusion, setting down the box of Elizabeth’s cookies to hand Dorian the jar of tea leaves and strainer that had been in the pantry as well. “The fire makes the water in the pot hot and when it’s hot enough it whistles. After it whistles you put the water in the cups and then put the leaves in that thing and put that thing in the cups. It’s easy...I watch Crishlyn do it all the time.”

Anna was so absorbed in trying to explain the task of making tea to Dorian, indicating the items and handing them over to him that their attention was completely removed from that quaint teapot sitting on the stove. The fire which Dorian had set it over was far to big and the flames licked at the sides of the stoneware instead of hovering beneath it. The artifact itself heated up before the water within and with a startling crack a fissure spiked from the bottom of the pot and up the side. A few small pieces of it went flying while the water inside spilled freely out to douse the culprit flame.

There was no shout of fear or surprise that escaped Anna, she didn’t even jump from the loud noise, though her attention did flicker back to the stove. Upon seeing the damage she glanced back to Dorian and with certainty stated, “You’re gonna be in trouble.”
