    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

There was only so long that a child could be entertained by simply watching someone else do something. Anna-Marie was indeed intrigued by the fae’s unique ability to bring his colorings into reality. Though none of it involved her to do anything besides telling him what she wanted. With that part of her help done it wasn’t a surprise that Anna wished for something to do too. Her command to want to join him in coloring was quickly and a bit surprisingly obliged as Dorian produced another piece of paper along with colored pencils for her use. He was certainly prepared.

“Ok.” The girl answered happily, choosing the light blue color to begin with. Anna had never cared to color before and it was no argument that drawing was a talent that some just did not possess. The child vampire was perhaps one of those who hadn’t inherited that talent. The tip of her tongue stuck out from between her lips as she dragged a line here and there in an attempt of a dress which was starting out as more like a simple rounded triangle. Some people didn’t care about not doing well at something new and others grew frustrated. Anna was the latter. Her frustration with her drawing not looking like she wanted was beginning to show on her features. She abandoned her work in that frustration and her attention began to drift elsewhere to find entertainment. It was fortunate that Dorian so finished the doll and pulled it from the paper to present to her.

Anna’s own attempt at a dress was quickly forgotten and instead snatched her new toy from the man. “Oh it’s so pretty!” She beamed and hugged the doll to her chest. “I’m gonna name her….Lyra.” She nodded resolutely and set to admiring the doll. Slowly Anna rose to her feet, her eyes never leaving her doll in her response to Dorian. “I’m not scared to walk home. Everyone always scared of me.” There was a hint of near...glee at the fact that she was the thing that people feared instead of the other way around. “It’s boring at that house now. It’s not mine. I’m not going back.” If there was a point to note that something was wrong then now would be it.

Her icy blue gaze turned away from the doll to look at the fae. “I’m gonna stay here now and live with my Sebastian. I’ll go pick my room right next to his. You can go be a servant again.” Because of course that was Dorian’s profession and reason to his presence in Sebastian’s home. She was done playing with Dorian and was intent to go on on her own, twisting about abruptly and stalking off towards the stairs with determination. Of course there was no promise that the only place she would wander off to would be an empty room beside Sebastian’s. There was a whole new ‘home’ to explore after all.
