    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Sebastian Ellington

Cause i've been dancing with shadows
waiting till the morning after

The evening had hardly gone according to Sebastian's plan in the slightest. Although he was often remiss to leave his lover, it had become a necessity with the man's continued presence within his life. Eating was a necessity and Dorian alone could hardly sustain his need for blood. The bar the vampire had chosen for the evening was certainly not his usual haunt, this one more akin to a dance club and yet, he knew they were often populated enough that finding his prey would hardly be difficult - in turn allowing him to return home all the quicker. The woman he'd chosen had been easy enough to lure outside, only after the vampire had purchased her a drink and, in turn provided her with a glimpse of that English charm the incubus was so capable of providing. She quite literally stumbled into his arms, the man all too willing to lead her outside into the nearby alleyway and, in turn, so eagerly take that which she was willing to provide. Her nails had dug into his jacket as he fed from her, those groans filling his ears only for that one blissful moment torn apart but a rather disgruntled Dark Hunter.

Meeting up with Gia had hardly been high upon the man's list of priorities, that woman altogether abrasive and yet she seemed more than content to so belittle him in the way she often did. It was that singular thought of returning home to the man he loved that kept Sebastian from snapping at the woman in the fashion that he so often had done priorly. Tonight, however, he was more than willing to simply appreciate that she had decided, against her better judgement, to release him for the evening, in turn leaving that vampire altogether hurrying to get away from the bar and the police the bar had, in turn, called upon them. By the time Sebastian had found another place and an actually decent, uninterrupted meal, several hours had passed since he'd left his own home. It was that knowledge of how long he'd left Dorian waiting that saw the vampire pause upon those still chilly streets at the sight of a neon sign that said 'open'. It was rather...peculiar, really, that a chocolatier should be open so late and yet, the Englishman could scarcely deny that velvety sweet substance. Surely, he reasoned, his lover to deserved a delectable treat. It was an apology, of sorts, for being out so late when he surely should have been home. Though tonight was hardly the first time he left the King, he could hardly deny that flutter of nervousness that so often ran rampant within his chest at returning from those hunts, even if Dorian had scarcely ever provided him a reason for that anxiety.

It was relieving, in a way, to finally set those bright blue eyes upon the warmth of that home, still lit up. He fully suspected his boyfriend to be nestled within that same chair the vampire had left him within, with that history book within his lap. Sebastian hardly hesitated in opening the front door, simply stepping over that threshold with a soft sigh on his lips. "Dorian!" He called as he moved down the hallway, "I got you a ---" Those words died upon his lips as the man turned the corner into that living room, those crystalline blue eyes falling upon the scene before him. "Shite." The words were uttered softly on his lips, the vampire stilled entirely at the sight of his maker within his home, alone with the one soul he'd tried so feverishly to hide from her. That bag of chocolate truffles slipped from his fingertips, falling upon the hardwood floors with a muted thud as his gaze briefly turned from the small vampire, to his lover, and then that bookshelf with it's covers out of place and trinkets haphazardly shoved back onto those shelves. His bright blue eyes shifted back to pair before him, his throat suddenly dry as his lips parted, the man forced to swallow before he could gather some train of thought. Tonight was so not going well for him. "Anna-Marie...I...I did not expect to see you here." He commented, his hand reached out for his lover as he spoke, entirely desperate to place himself between the pair. "To what do we owe the pleasure?" Sebastian made every effort to remain entirely amicable to the young woman, entirely refusing to lose Dorian to the very female whom had so stolen his very life once already.
