    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

His shoulders rose easily in something akin to a shrug at her demand to come with him. Frost supposing he would hardly deny the girl a chance for vengeance should she desire it and they ever come across those whom had wronged her again.

“If you desire too.”

He confirmed a moment later, the man continuing with an explanation then on those matters of breeding as opposed to changing a human. It was important, he supposed, that Malia had at least some knowledge of the process lest she go about changing humans accidentally and through simply carelessness. Frost considering for the first time that a creature like herself had rather limited defences outside her teeth should she ever need to utilise them and yet, at best, he supposed she could simply flee rather then bite if the option remained. Her choices in this her own, Frost merely providing that information before her indignant demand to know just what consequences might arise from turning a human. That almost rueful smile seemed to find his lips and yet on this he provided no further answers, merely waving his hand as if to dismiss the question and bring her attention to that shift she need be focused on. There would be time, later, to fill her in on just why biting a human was perhaps a poor idea and all that might come with it and yet for now in the least he had little intention of doing so. Frost leaning back in his chair in those moments that followed, attempting to coach her through that process before simply providing the support of his presence, rather than his words. Her human form finally giving way into that canine figure at last. Malia left gasping for breath in the wake of those screams and yet she had done it all the same. Those rarely offered words of praise barely muttered from between his lips- as if he hardly wished to be caught saying them at all. The woman seeming to have seized upon them all the same before declaring she knew. His own gaze rolling slightly. Her willingness to get better at changing, to get faster entirely appealing as he simply nodded, the girl struggling into a sitting position.

“The more you change, the faster you will get, the less it will hurt. Simply keep practicing. The night of the full moon will make your shifts truly easy but that is but one night every now and then.”

Frost was, if anything, truly an example of the very thing he had been made to be- the man holding every belief that the simple repetition of what was required would bring about those results as any military man surely believed and yet, in this instance in the least, he was very much correct. The more the woman shifted from one form to the other the easier it would become. One hand lifted absentmindedly to run those fingers through his strangely white locks, his features visible for barely a moment before that hair fell back into place, the stallion hardly considering the curiosity this seemed to prompt within his newfound pack-mate. Malia wandering forward a moment later to balance her forepaws on his knees, leaning towards him as if she held some infantile desire to lick his face. Frost so automatically leaning back just so. The stallion, as any horse, hardly inclined to have a predator lean so close even if he hardly believed her capable of harming him. The girl evidently in possession of any lacking filter for her questions as Frost merely scowled. His hair a favoured topic among half this city and yet so precious few truly knew of what existed beneath it. The man simply lifting that hair once more to afford the dog a view of that violet eye- one that was notably paler then the other when examined closely.

“Yes. As it happens I am blind in that eye. Though I hardly see the need to advertise the fact. That information is for you alone though do not go about getting any ideas of attempting to do things on my right side that you believe I cannot see. I am so used to people attempting as such that I have come to anticipate it now.”

It was true in every aspect. The amount of beings whom tried to utilise that lack of sight as a weakness had served only to increase his ability to compensate for it in most cases. His words as cool and smooth as always as he issued that near effortless command of sorts. That mention of sniffing trees so earning him a curl of her lip, that amusement rising within his chest once more as she declared her intention only to smell the important messages. Ah, of course, how foolish of him not to consider that. Her query about shopping met with another roll of his shoulders before the enormity of attempting to display the monetary system to her weighed heavily upon him.

“Shopping is where we go to a store, a place that has many things, like clothes that we are allowed to take home with us if we exchange them for money. Each item of clothing is worth a certain amount of money. We give the shop keeper that money and they give us clothing or whatever else we are after in return. Different stores sell different things. We get money by going to work- doing a job for someone that they pay us for. It is not exactly how I get my money but I see little need to delve into that just now. Do you desire to get new clothing? The sort no other has worn before and not designed for a man?”
