    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Her assurance that humans were stupid was met with that soft quirk of his lips once more. Frost entirely assured he liked this girl even despite the manner she seemed to have for simply saying anything and everything that came to her mind- the man rather finding he enjoyed her quick wit. Intelligence an entirely appealing trait in every sense. The man finding he tended to agree with her on that idea of humans all the same. They were, for the most part- stupid. Her decision that she would never be a coat met with that some touch of amusement, the man enjoying her ideals all the same if not her sheer determination to be beyond the reach of humankind. How appealing determination could be, Frost offering that passing compliment all the same. The man seeing no harm in affording her some self-confidence in any sense and besides, his words were entirely true. Her human form was hardly displeasing to look at. The man assured she would learn just that sooner or later. Her assurance no one would choose for her met with that simple nod.

He followed her easily into that next store then, the girl hurrying to find a leather jacket. Frost assured women were attracted to leather like moths to a flame, the man affording it little comment as he merely watched, ignoring the curious gaze of one or two passers-by as Malia pulled herself into it before turning to face him- asking what he thought off her new attire. The colour and cut fitted her well enough. The girl at least no longer looking homeless as he nodded his approval. Now she just needed the rest of her outfit. It was a simple matter to lead her to those jeans and shirts then, Frost determined to at least try and get her several pairs, the man aware she would likely lose, rip or dirty most of them well before the week was out. She’d learn eventually to either take her clothes off when she shifted or learn to shift without tearing them, Frost inclined to feel she would go through a number of shirts before she managed this. The more he could encourage her to buy the better. His efforts to instil some sort of style in the girl met with several blank looks. Frost sure he was hardly the person to teach her about these things all the same.

Malia took it upon herself to continue roaming, grabbing the occasional outfit before she spied those leather pants, Frost quick to attempt to steer her away from them. Leather pants, while surely complimenting to her figure, would hardly draw her the type of attention she wanted. The stallion hardly willing to allow that attention from men before she was ready for it, what she had learned of their advances in her pack he highly doubted would come in useful in the human world. His attempt to steer her away from that seemed to result in a momentary tantrum, his eyes rolling slightly as she stormed over to some other clothes. His efforts to steer her towards those less expensive clothes met with a scowl.

“I am hardly poor but we don’t need to spend money for the sake of spending it either. I don’t have the time to teach you about banking just now. Bring those to the counter with you. We have to pay.”

He gestured then towards the woman waiting at the counter, taking those clothes from Malia to place them on the checkout and allow the woman to place them in a shopping bag. Frost remaining at her side lest the girl suddenly decide to terrify this woman too as she scanned those items, Frost plucking the tag from that leather jacket and handing it to her rather then risk trying to pry it from Malia’s form. Battles were better chosen, after all, this one not one of them- the man handing over his credit card then, frowning slightly at that cost before tucking it back into his wallet and handing Malia those bags.

“I will explain the money card later. Do you need anything else? Do you want to look at anything else? Do you have shoes?”
