However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Nadya Tetradore

Nadya had felt Frost approach her front door even before he knocked. It wasn’t hard to feel the bond with him so close. She was going to ignore the knock due to Izzy’s seemingly never-ending tantrum but knew he would only persist. It was a personality trait of the stallions that played in both his favor or against him depending on the circumstances. However, Nadya figured if Frost heard the full extent of the wailing that he would leave without much trouble. Who would willingly walk into that racket?

Obviously Frost would. The young mother had swung open the front door to unleash the full weight of Izzy’s scream and utter her disapproval at Frost’s timing. Never mind the fact that she had warned him to leave her be the last time she saw him. She could tell that Frost seemed...unwilling to accept defeat so easily. What Nadya didn’t expect was the side step he took around and past her to so simply stroll into the apartment. Nadya tensed slightly in annoyance more so than anything else but she closed the door anyhow and followed Frost’s trail into the living room where Izzy was still on the floor. You would think she would have run out of air or passed out by now.

Even though Nadya had lashed out at Frost the last time she saw him she was unconcerned about him harming the twins. Frost may be many things but a child killer wasn’t one of them. Well, now it was for certain she wasn’t going out tonight. While Frost seemed to work on an attempt to settle Izzy, Nadya slipped off her black heels and leaned against the doorway with her arms folded across her chest. Those same butterflies that he had utilized to amuse the twins on their first birthday made an appearance. It took Izzy only a few moments to manage to gather herself, her screams turning to soft giggles as she tried to grab at the illusions from her spot on the ground. Now that the screaming had ceased even Micah dared to inch closer in delight.

Those pale pink lipstick lined lips pursed as Frost started up with why he was here. It was the same as always...he wanted her to go with him. A part of her was declared to him, felt for him, and that part she hadn’t been able to bring herself to sever. No one had ever shown the passion he did towards her; albeit it intense and wrong at times, but to feel wanted like that was hard to let go of. Nadya sighed, “I’m not ignoring you, Frost, I told you to stay away. You killed my brother. I know you said you didn’t mean to but it doesn’t mean I can just forget it.” Whether Frost knew of her brother’s return was yet to be seen but unless he said anything she wasn’t about to. Her brother could be still keeping his very much not dead self a secret. “My brother cared for the Ark and the members of his pack. It’s my job as Beta to make sure they remain unharmed.” Honestly, a part of her had been waiting for Tobias to tire of waiting for her brother’s return like he had as a child and simply wander off. It would have freed her from this duty as Beta.

Izzy had slowly rolled over and pushed herself up onto her feet so as to better attempt catching the butterflies. Micah joined his sister for a moment before becoming distracted with a few toys that were piled off to the side. He plucked up the old horse toy which Frost had given them and toddled back over to the man. The small boy placed one hand on Frost’s knee as he held up the toy as if to give it to Frost, mumbling around his pacifier, “Dada.”

Nadya left her station over to the trio in order to quickly lift Micah, causing him to drop the toy beside Frost. “He’s...been calling everyone that.” No...he hadn’t but Nadya felt it was best to quickly shuffle it under the rug. She wasn’t quite sure why Micah would call Frost dada as she had never placed that title on him. In fact she hadn’t placed that title on anyone, not even calling Tobias dada to them. “I sold the burlesque for the twins.” Nadya quickly moved away from the awkward subject. “They’re getting older and I can’t take them with me anymore. They get bored in the office and I can’t always have my eyes on them when they are backstage. I’m opening a dance studio instead...I’m going to teach dance. The twins can go to work with me and learn too.” Nadya shifted Micah on her hip. She knew it didn’t sound glamorous like the burlesque which the girls at work were quick to point out but like everything she did she did it for her children.
