    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Five, he was sure, still sounded far too young for his own liking. Even with these supposed adults on that bus and yet, for now at least, the stallion hardly afforded it further comment. The man surprised he held enough care on the matter to form an opinion and yet the idea of children so being in any sort of danger was displeasing to him all the same. Frost brushing away those concerns for now. After all, they were hardly his own to dictate. The man content to let Nadya do as she pleased in this. She would all the same. Any further questions it seemed, had been cast aside by the young woman as she so seemed to acquire his assistance in this notion of bathing the children, Frosts gaze narrowing slightly in wariness of such an activity. It was, after all, distinctly outside his own set of skills. The stallion assured their would be little reward for his efforts in this and yet he was not, he supposed, overly opposed to the woman’s company even if it was in the performance of a task he was assured he possessed no skill for. If such a thing might endear him back into her good graces then he was willing, to some extent, to offer his assistance and yet the stallion held little intention of seeing himself soaked in the process. He had never been afforded the chance to perform any of those more paternal duties with his own children and as such an instinct for it seemed wholly lacking. Her assurance he need not fall in met with something of a scowl, eyes rolling somewhere beneath that snowy white hair at the idea he might somehow fall in a bathtub.

A sigh of sorts fell from his lips all the same. The man bending to scoop up that boy-child and carry him down the hall and behind his Mother. Frost stepping into the bathroom a moment later to eye that heated tub, his features holding little emotion outside of confusion as she proceeded to instruct him to simply remove the diaper and clothes before placing the child in the tub. It was not, he supposed, a terribly difficult task and yet a part of the man eyed it with mistrust all the same. A part of him feeling almost foolish and yet without the eyes of his pack or Alexander or any other upon him the stallion moved to at least make some attempt to do as required. The dark-haired boys shirt had proven to be simple enough. Frost dropping it beside the one from his sister before the man made some effort to wrangle the child out of his pants. That diaper eyed now with disdain. This was…not within his skillset. Even if a part of him…..enjoyed that time spent with the children, as if, in some fashion, making up for that he had lost with his own and yet that he might somehow do it wrong weighed upon him still. For all he was, for all that was said of him, no part of Frost was inclined to bring harm to a child even by accident.

It took several attempts to finally remove that diaper. Frost content to use his foot to kick it across the room as if he feared its mere presence before placing Micah in the tub beside his sister, stepping back now to stand on the far side of the room, his arms folding across his chest as he lent back against that wall. As if he might so get away with merely watching from here on out. Any idea of what to do with them next lost upon, after all, they appeared content in their play with those toys. Maybe they were better left to play. Frost simply watching over them instead lest one should see fit to attempt to drown itself. Nadya lingering far closer all the same, his violet gaze finding her in turn as he merely….watched her move about with the children. The man once more inclined to consider how entirely capable a woman she was, despite her youth, something akin to a simper touching his lips if only briefly before he simply returned to that task of watching over that small family. A role he had taken up far more often then he believed she ever realised, though he hardly cared to voice it now. That façade of indifference still very much in place and yet there was a part of him that almost…..enjoyed this simple pleasantness.

“Are you sure you don’t want to take anything off?”

Those words were decidedly soft, teasing and yet uttered all the same just loud enough for the woman to hear, a soft chuckle rising within his throat, the man watching her from his place upon the wall. A more genuine grin touching his lips now as his shoulders so lifted into a shrug and those rich baritone lyrics so accented parted his lips in his native language.

“Bara uppástunga.” (Just a suggestion)
