Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

The last time Nadya had had help with such tasks from someone other than their babysitter was when Isolt herself was teaching Nadya how to care for them. Although she hadn’t seen the redhead since the brief view at the mayor’s gala, Nadya still credited the woman for being able to keep her children. Frost’s help then was new but didn’t feel as foreign and awkward as she thought it would. It almost felt...natural. Perhaps it was simply that she had no fear of him harming them which allowed her to relax. Either way the young mother set about with her attention on Izzy since she had given Frost the task of the much calmer of the two.

Nadya couldn’t help but raise a curious brow at Frost when he questioned her about the shampoo. “You’ve never done anything like this before? ….You have so many kids. I would have thought you’d have some experience in...something with them.” It was hard to believe that Frost couldn’t have even had the most menial experience in caring for any of his children. She knew so little of his past; he was so guarded about it. Nadya instead showed Frost by demonstrating with Izzy in the same way and gentle tone Isolt had done with her. “Just like that.” It was no sooner that the two had been lathered up that Micah had gotten excited about the rubber duck and splashed it into the water causing a spray out. Very little caught Nadya’s arm as she leaned back with the main victim being Frost. Despite Frost’s scuttle back and scowl, the little family of 3 looked back at him with giggles. “It’s a very good look for you.” Nadya commented with a soft smile. “They’re old enough to understand for rinsing so don’t be afraid.” Nadya gently placing her finger beneath Micah’s chin. “Back.” Obediently the toddler tilted his head back as Frost returned to his position.

“Hmm?” Nadya glanced over at the pair from rinsing Izzy’s hair. She watched them quietly, how Frost gently touched Micah’s hand as he rinsed the toddler off. “...What are you saying to him?” Surely the first question a mother would want to know was what their child was thinking. However, she was more curious about what Frost could possibly have to say to her son. She leaned back onto her heels to grab the towels hanging from the rack, handing one to Frost before plucking Izzy from the tub and setting her to stand on the rug before the girl could protest, wrapping the towel snugly about her. “I have a shirt you can use, should fit you.” Frost was a bit leaner than Sebastian but the shirt would fit nonetheless. On one of their nights together Nadya had worn Sebastian’s shirt home and never gave it back. The vampire never cared and it gave Nadya something comfy to lounge around in at night on occasion.
