    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

It had been a few weeks since he had last seen the young shifter. He thought about her often, wondering if she was keeping safe and staying out of trouble. He didn’t want to see her hurt again or captured. Henry was overall a decent guy and he didn’t want to see anyone hurt…especially not someone as vulnerable as Malia. But he hadn’t seen the woman in week and he wondered if she was even still alive.

And in that three weeks of time, he had gotten himself in a heap of trouble. His shifting had caused him to hospitalize his lover and he felt so bad for it. From the moment he had gotten back into town and dropped Sterling off at the hospital, he had immediately went to Tetradore and asked for help in understanding his panther form.

The training with Tetradore had been brutal. He had been trying to learn to shift and control himself, but nothing seemed to help the feral nature that seemed to overtake him when he shifted. He sighed. He began to wonder if he would ever get the hang of it.

And each evening, Henry spent several hours looking up at the balcony of the apartment he shared with Sterling. Henry hadn’t stepped foot inside of it since the accident. Instead, he waited at the door of the building, watching the door from the shadows. He hoped to see Sterling, to see that he was well. But all he saw was other residents coming and going. None of them were Sterling. He wondered if Sterling was even alive. He hoped he hadn’t killed his lover. But in the same breath, he couldn’t bring himself to find the truth.

Something caught his attention and as Malia rang the doorbell to be allowed into the building, he felt his phone begin to vibrate in his pocket, indicating that someone was trying to buzz in. He sighed as he stepped forward, moving to stand alongside Malia. “I’ve not been there in a couple of weeks…What did you need?” He wasn’t sure if it was entirely appropriate for him to discuss what had happened. He wasn’t sure he wanted to. All she needed to know was that for now, he didn’t live there.
