    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Henry couldn’t help but chuckle lightly when Malia questioned what tipsy meant. He didn’t think he would ever get used to her questions. He just wasn’t used to someone who was so green to their lifestyle. Then again…he supposed he was the same way when it came to his were half. He’d didn’t know a damn thing about being a panther…except that he was capable of a shit ton of destruction. “Tipsy is just a word to describe how you’re feeling – relaxed, free of inhibitions, a little unsteady on your feet. It’s what alcohol does to you.” It was one step below drunk and by the way she was downing those Long Island Iced Teas, she was going to be drunk before she knew it.

He watched her come forward, trying to make a point and then he watched her ass fall on the ground. He sighed. She definitely didn’t need anything else to drink. Sliding out of his chair, he leaned over to extend his hand for her. “Come on, let me help you up.”. And finally, she was in her chair.

He ordered some fries and when she asked if they were good, he nodded his head. He mentioned the advil and she seemed to coil away from him. “Suit yourself. You’re going to wish you had taken some advil in the morning.” When the waiter came by, Henry politely asked that he box the fries to go. Malia needed to get somewhere where she wasn’t going to hurt herself. A bar full of other drink people was definitely not a safe place for her to be.

He asked her how she had been and he listened to her. He sighed. Seemed like she was having a good life. He wished he could say the same. “Let’s just say I’ve had better days.” The loaded fries came and Henry slapped a couple of $20 bills on the table before he stood and offered his hand to Malia. “Come on, you need to get home. Where have you been staying?” He couldn’t knowingly just let her run off as drunk as she was. He needed to at least ensure that she was safe at home. What she did after that was all on her.
