    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Henry almost seemed sad in these moments and she wanted to comfort him somehow. That's what friends do, right? She wanted him to be happy again, to be carefree with her. He seemed surprised by how little she knew on the subject of kissing and other stuff though, as if she was supposed to know all about humans and what they do for fun now. She had only been one on and off for a few months now. She was trying to learn somewhat but no one had ever explained this to her before. She was curious. He sighed before saying it was supposed to feel good straight to her core. She scowled thoughtfully and looked down at her torso before looking back at him. She tilted her head. "Like an apple core?" She was so confused. He slowly moved to sit on the bed beside her as if he was suddenly awkward around her and she furrowed her brows, not sure why he would be. There suddenly seemed to be something almost restless about him, a nervous energy that she could sense in the air, like an animal desire. It made her a little jittery too but she didn't understand it.

Then he said that there were plenty of things but she wasn't ready. She frowned, having never liked to be told no on something. She huffed. "I think I can decide that on my own, thank you very much. What makes anyone ready for anything?" Then he said that her body was capable of some "pleasurable shit" as he put it. She tilted her head. "Like what, Henry? Come on, quit being so vague. I'm not a child. Spill." She was growing more and more frustrated. When he said that she knew what coyotes did, she nodded. "Of course. The male mounts the female until he gets off then the female gets pregnant and has pups somewhere down the road." She shrugged as if anyone should know that much. Then he threw a curve ball. He said that humans do the same for fun. She scowled, puzzled. "Never seems fun for the female." Then he said that he couldn't teach her anything else, that she should only do it with someone she cares for. She was burning with curiosity by this point, practically squirming to know how that could possibly be construed as fun. It was a duty for a coyote, nothing more. Just a way to support a strong male's lineage.

She understood that. That's why she allowed Caesar to mate with other females in the pack when she couldn't let him do that to her. It was only right that he continue his line, just not with her. And now there was actually something fun about it and he was going to go all awkward and stiff on her? Hell to the no! She scooted closer to him, her eyes burning with determination. "You're my friend, Henry. That means I care about you. If you're not the one to teach me, then who? Come on, you've taught me practically everything else about the human world. Why stop now?"
