However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
The library was amazing! There were so many books! Rows and rows and rows of them! Abigail could only imagine all the books she could find here, all the topics she'd never explored, all the stories she'd never read! It was so exciting. She could hardly stop that desire to wander those shelves, the girl entirely keen to peep out of her hiding place to eye the nearby books with a certain sort of longing. If only she was human! If only she could pluck them from the shelves and read those pages. She would come back to investigate this place more thoroughly, maybe tomorrow before she started on her homework. That sounded like a good plan. In fact, it was only once Abigail had reassured herself that she would get the opportunity to explore that building that the girl was able to turn her attention to her companion's hushed muttering as he booted up that computer to visit that webpage with his account and that bizarre bitcoin thingie they were investigating. They were going to solve this coin case and maybe, it would make her Arlo feel better! That was, as it so often was, her number one priority. He was her best friend and that was what best friends did right? Besides, she'd never seen him this anxious before, even if she hadn't the slightest idea as to why. She wanted to make it better, her little head nuzzling gingerly against his cheek as he typed in that password to reveal a few thousand of those coins in his account.

Arlo seemed to regard that screen with a hint of disdain that Abigail herself hardly understood. After all, if Patrick had left them this, it was clearly for a reason, wasn't it? And if it was video game money then surely they had to make an effort to play the game associated with it. She hardly believed that he'd go out of his way to leave them something so frivolous! At the very least, she held far more faith in that man she'd never met then Arlo did. Her gaze shifted from right to left and back again, making certain she didn't get the man in trouble before she stepped out of his hood, onto his shoulder, upon his chest and finally landed with a soft thud onto that very desk. Abigail was entirely determined to ensure they carried out the will of Arlo's late friend, even if she wasn't exactly sure yet what the will was. But! Video games first and then maybe she could enjoy all the library had to offer! Her tail flicked in determination as she nosed at that mouse, getting it in exaccctttllyyy the right spot before her little paw pressed down on Arlo's finger. The little panda positioned herself in front of that keyboard, using the tips of those claws to type in some haphazard fashion. Fingers made this whole affair so much easier. It was times like this she wished for her human self...but she was so not ready to explain that, even though she knew that revealing this much intelligence meant she had to explain herself eventually. This, as much as she loved this, could not last forever and the notion of that pained her little panda heart even as she exuberantly pressed the enter button on that keyboard.

Her own gaze remained glued to that screen, almost worried of that glimpse that might have settled upon Arlo's features, much less any realization he might have had at her overly smarty pants panda self. She was pretty sure she'd ruined all notions that she was just a wild creature already. Hopefully he wouldn't hold this against her...after all, he liked her, right? And she liked him. And and and that was enough to overcome a ginormous lie like this wasn't it? She wasn't exactly...lying per se, she just...never showed up as a human. Besides, it wasn't as if she had vocal cords to say 'hey, my name is abby and I'm a were but let me be your panda friend and sit on your shoulders and get squished down your shirt but you're kinda hot so I don't really mind!'. Yeah, best not say hi that way...oh wait, what was that? That link looked promising. That link had a dollar sign! She knew what dollar signs were! Her little nose lightly booped that screen, that tail flicking quite animatedly before she glanced back at him in an entirely expectant gesture. It was that insistence to move her head that caused the little panda to duck down, providing him an unobstructed view of the screen as she looked up at that link he clicked on.

Those small hazel eyes scanned the information in front of her with the same acuteness as her companion before dropping to that graph below that showed the fluctuation of the worth of a singular bitcoin. Holy crackers...that was one hell of a currency! Her own little ears flicked up at that sudden movement behind her, her gaze shifted towards her companion at that exclamation that left his lips. Wow was right! A softly uttered chirp left her lips, the girl entirely attentive to their current location despite the nearly infectious excitement within her friend. That shush of that librarian caused her mouth to part in a grin and yet, she watched in silence as Arlo turned back towards the screen to bring up a sort of converter. The number that little calculator spat out caused her own hazel eyes to stare in near amazement. Did she count those zeros right?! That was….well that was more money then Abigail had ever dreamed of having! See! Patrick hadn't let Arlo down at all! This was one hell of an inheritance! Her attention turned towards the man behind her, a sense of gleeful pride filling the girl at having helped in this.

She watched as Arlo ran his arm over his eyes and inquisitively her head tilted to the side. That grin upon his features had a way of so sparking a gleeful look upon her own and yet, Abigail had hardly expected to find herself quite suddenly in his arms. A rather delighted squeak left her lips as she nestled into the man's grasp, entirely keen to return that altogether rare glimpse of affection. Oh yeah, helping was so worth this! The girl was hardly ready for that hug to end as she was placed back upon that desk, only for that keyboard to be pushed towards her. She stared at it for a moment before glancing up at the man, staring up at him equally was blankly. He owed her? He'd buy her anything she wanted? Well, she wasn't sure about that. After all, she hardly did enough for a castle or an airplane! Then again...it wasn't as if Abigail found herself really….wanting anything either...she was a modest girl by nature. She'd gone without so much for so long that the idea of having anything only brought to mind things that couldn't be purchased at all! That soft touch of his hand behind her ear caused the girl to glance up at him and yet, she was almost hesitant to ask of him what she truly desired most of all.

For once, that anxiety at asking for something caused the girl not to wholly embrace those little touches of affection. Rather, the woman paused for several moments before her little claws reached out for that keyboard, typing in three simple words with particular care. The first of which was the name of that grocery store that sat on the corner of the street just outside her neighborhood, followed by two other words: 'next time'. That large fancy store was always just so busy and so bright and so full of so many food choices she'd never even considered! She'd wanted to go there for so long and yet it was just...so much for the country girl. It had been near overwhelming every effort she'd made to venture in there. Maybe with Arlo, it wouldn't be so bad. Maybe she could get all the fruits she'd never seen before and all those leafy green veggies she didn't know what to do with! It was silly, she knew it, but he had said anything!
