    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

aiden tetradore

Tetradore shoved another cookie in his mouth, his head leaning back against the pillow as his eyes fluttered closed. Those words reverberated in his mind over and over as the man analyzed them from every conceivable angle. He was not often thought of being a particularly intelligent man - after all, he was quiet by nature, spoke particularly little, and often used fear and physical powers first. However, such intense contemplation was not beyond him. In fact, it was that mere ability to so dwell upon things, to go through each and every 'what if' and to dissect every possible meaning behind every single word that led to his often more dismal demeanor. This time was certainly one of those. It was silly, really, that Nadya thought he chose Tobias over herself. In their youth, certainly, but he had been equally as furious at the boy as he had his sister. Hell, the man wore a permanent scar from Tetradore in his fury where Nadya walked away wound free. Still, it had been her power out of control - a power he had little doubt that Tobias had latched onto and mirrored. It was her that had made Tobias promise to keep those encounters secret from him. It wasn't his fault that Tobias chose him whilst Nadya chose her children, her love affair, and everything else but himself. A soft sigh left his lips, his gaze refocused upon the world at large at the subtle sound of that door opening and closing.

He could hear that gentle ruffle of clothing as she bent down to remove her shoes, even if he saw little reason to comment on his presence. Rather, he listened to that barely discernable padding of her feet, There was silence, for a moment, until those very scents of his own cologne so seemed to tug at her and soon enough, his name was upon her lips. He hardly missed that fashion at which she had nearly called him by his given name once again, his eyes rolling ever so slightly. This was exactly why he simply never voiced it to anyone before. Still, he answered her comment with little more than a grunt, the man instead reaching over to that bag of cookies, letting the paper material crinkle as he grabbed another sweet from the depths of that bag. He heard that refrigerator door open and close, the man easily able to assume she'd been out grocery shopping of some kind. It hardly mattered to him, really, what she filled that apartment with. After all, he had gone unused for months and would likely continue to go unused when she decided to leave that sprawling metropolis behind her, much like he so desperately wanted to.

He could hear the pouring of some sort of liquid in glasses, his eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly as he nibbled on that chocolate chip cookie within his fingers. Soon enough, those footfalls moved away from that kitchen and towards his own little hide away. His emerald eyes briefly shifted towards her and that cheshire grin that crossed the fair woman's features. She seemed quite pleased with herself and yet, the man merely regarded her with a look of disinterested discontent. She seemed to catch on quite flawlessly to his mood, that simper vanishing in mere moments as he was thrust a cup of milk. For a moment, he eyed it before gingerly reaching forward to pluck it from her fingers. That cookie was delicately placed on his lap as he reached into his bag to offer her one in exchange for that glass she'd given him. That glimpse of concern upon her features was all but ignored by the man as he dipped that cookie he'd been indulging within in that milk. Rather, it was that question that truly drew his attention. He glanced up at her with a vague display of weariness upon his features. So few truly asked the man what he felt or what so bothered him - most keen to simply stay out of his way, other's still preferred to just make assumptions over anything else. He had never truly had someone ask him with a genuine interest in what so bubbled within the were-King's mind.

For a moment, he'd considered denying her that knowledge - though it was more out of mere habit than anything else. Still, he knew well how highly she valued the genuine truth, that alone perhaps reassuring him she had secretive agenda to that idle inquiry. A small shrug crossed his shoulder as his bright green eyes turned back towards the milk within his lap. "My sister finally chose him over me. She claimed she was choosing her children and not between us and that I was the one disowning her. Because it's my fault to not be around the man who terrified my girlfriend and chased her out of down. She thinks all of it is my fault" Those words fell flatly from his lips and yet, there was no denying how much it simply hurt She was entirely unreasonable - throwing those words in his face with the full intent to harm him before she moved on with her happy little life with her happy little family with that Stallion. He knew well she hardly even wanted them around, not with the way she'd so found every excuse to destroy what he'd attempted to build, much less so eagerly embrace Frost. Rumors had it she had already joined his pack as it was anyways. He shouldn't be surprised and yet, that didn't erase all the hurt of what she'd done any less.
