    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

aiden tetradore

There was no denying that Tetradore had a weakness for individuals like her. For creatures like Raven and Tobias and Vhalla. He was so innately drawn to the broken and the damaged - to those who simply needed someone there to be an understanding presence, to provide them with that chance to rise above all that they had been through. He wanted to be that helping hand that he himself had lacked during all those years when he had so desperately needed it. Despite that hard exterior that Tetradore presented the world with, there was a part of him that was distinctly chivalrous and charitable, even if very few were capable of making such a distinction within the near enigma that made up that man. He was hardly concerned of the topic of rent or weather or not she would like it. Quite on the contrary, Tetradore was assured it would all work out well enough, in one fashion or another. In fact, the man was even willing to tease the woman on her insistence to see his property before she made a decision. What he didn't expect, however, was her assurance that not only did she owe him for all that he was willing to offer her, but that she too had every intention of paying her debt with a night of fun. Whatever that consisted of. Regardless, Tetradore was willing to agree, albeit with a hint of hesitance.

That sudden invitation to watch a movie with her, however, was equally as unexpected as the woman's determination to take him out at a night on the town and yet, this one too he was willing to accept. It wasn't as if the man was looking forward to returning to the Ark, much less in informing the rest of his pack that Nadya had abandoned them for the enemy. He suspected Raven would be overjoyed to hear this. In fact, he was rather certain it was but Tobias alone who might have some shred of similar emotions that so wracked the Alpha's thoughts. Still, the fact of the matter was that he was certainly willing to linger within that tent of a sanctuary they had made. Instead, he crawled from the depths of that fort to harass that age old television into life again. It was hardly his most precise work ever. Tetradore knew enough to take his sports cars apart and put them back together but the fine, meticulous details of how televisions and computers worked often failed to intrigue him in the slightest.Still, apparently hitting the damn thing seemed enough to prompt some kind of reaction from it. It was almost surprising how often that worked. Hitting and restarting had ways of somehow fixing everything.

That exclamation of glee that left her lips as that television flickered on produced a grin upon the man's own features. He reached for those DVD's, shifting through them only to inquire over his shoulder which one Mira was partial to. He supposed, as an afterthought, he shouldn't be surprised by the movie she picked. The story itself was hardly new. In fact, Tetradore was certain he remembered bits and pieces of it. Even so, he slid that dvd into that rather old looking player, the man almost surprised that the thing even still worked but, soon enough, that sound of the Disney logo filled the dingy flat. Tetradore retreated back to that comfortable bed, settling beside the woman on his stomach as his cheek leaned against his arm in an entirely lackadaisical fashion. Those animals upon that screen hardly irritated him to the same fashion they seemed to provoke Mira. That idle comment of the wolves hunting down that tiger caused the man to pause, a small frown crossing his features as he eyed that scene near critically. "I'm not sure they have enough wolves to take him down without a severe loss in their numbers." The man responded, taking that comment perhaps a bit too serious. After all, he'd seen exactly what those felines were capable of - what Reagan was capable of. Though, he supposed that perhaps she was rooting for her own kind in that non-existent battle.

Tetradore eyed the fashion at which the woman almost seemed the bare her own teeth at that perceived threat. Mira was certainly emotionally invested in those characters. Tetradore, on the other hand, was entirely content to lay his head upon his arms, the man hardly disinterested in the story but he failed to be moved by that aggressive behavior of the tiger quite in the same fashion. Instead, Tetradore eyed that ebony figure of that panther with a notable hint of judgment, as if he was attempting to decide his thoughts on that strict feline. He was hardly certain he shared the woman's same insistence that the panther needed a hug and so, rather than ruin her movie experience, he remained silent as he watched his own little character interact with that young jungle boy. Those emerald green eyes only briefly flickered away from the screen to watch as Mira grabbed another cookie, though he hardly seemed worried about that ever dwindling bag of treats. Quite on the contrary, Tetradore found himself oddly sedated from the sheer number he himself had eaten, his gaze instead turned back towards that ebony feline, listening to that simple fact that fell from Mira's lips.

He could hardly help that small snort that left his nose at the idea of it, the man readily nodded all the same. "It's a miracle the kid even lasted this long. I imagine the wolves would have made quick work of it too come the first year of winter." The blatant truth was that need for survival of the species often came far before some idealistic notion of love and family. That was hardly to say that he didn't hold strong values in those concepts, but they were were-creatures. Those animals on the screen would have been no more than mere animals. "Maybe Raksha couldn't tell the difference between her own pups and the kid…." He commented idly, a mischievous grin on his features as he so easily questiond the intelligence of the young woman's favorite character. Really, it was the only reason Mowgli had made it so long - that wolf's decision to not eat him when she could. After all, Bagheera had his own sort of past with humans that had certainly explained his decision not to chew on the child. Really though, he and that animated feline had far more in common then he liked to admit - a history with collar and chain. This movie and it's associated book were far too close to his reality then he liked and yet, he said little of it. No, tonight was Mira's night. He'd already tainted it enough with his somber demeanor.
