Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Sebastian Ellington

It was almost curious to think of, really, that the day he had been born, the man who would become the love of his very life was merely sitting in a palace some thousand miles away, unchanged as he had been for centuries. He could scarcely imagine that man, now vibrant and full of life, simply locked away behind the same perpetual walls for hundreds of years. His heart ached every time he was given to consider it. How he wished he could have changed their fates to have their paths intersect sooner. How he wished he had known sooner, even if he'd been left to simply talk to the Monarch behind glass windows for two hundred years. It was silly, surely, though he would have done no less for the King he so adored. It was Dorian's voice that drew him from his internal thoughts, that grin once again crossing his features as he nodded in agreement that six years certainly sounded far nicer than those hundreds that they had both gone without one another. He hardly commented on it, however, instead fully intending to draw the King's attention towards that magazine and it's mention of Dorian's ideal first date.

Though their own first evening together was hardly ideal in any sense, it was something even these magazines could scarcely be able to make up. No one anticipated to find their soul mate in front of a burning building - the thought alone amused him, even as he so correctly chose that gallery from the list of other activities he was certain his lover had surely never tried before. Even so, he could hardly help that question as to whether or not Dorian was even the slightest bit aware of what a true concert or movie going experience consisted of. He was surprised, in some regard, that Samantha had even been capable of coaxing the Monarch in front of a television for any real length of time. That Dorian had never before even heard of a proper concert, however, was somehow less astonishing. Somehow, even Samatha had not struck him truly as the concert type. The girl had been entirely...skittish, to say the least. His own explanation of it likely hardly did the activity any justice and yet, he had never found concerts to be terribly grand beyond their utter ease of use as hunting grounds.

That inquiry on whether or not he had been to one, however, caused his head to nod ever so slightly. "In my younger years I'd been to a few, they make for easy eating. I never cared for the band's enough to stay. The music is...far too loud to be really appreciated."At those volumes, the finer points were often lost in that overwhelming thud of the base. In this, even Sebastian was willing to admit that he was distinctly upper-class and, much to his horror, perhaps aged. Still, with his superior hearing, the vampire found those noises almost….painful. He hardly was willing to let that conversation linger upon such a distasteful thing, however, particularly when even Dorian had little interest in attending such an event. It was that notion of the movies that he was willing to explore, in some regard. After all, the stories were not always awful and the special effects could be astounding when combined with those delightful boxed treats. His own description of those screens seemed to awe the fae, even without a true understanding of what that modern cinema so entailed. This portion of modern dating was one he was fully willing to show his lover, and in turn, Dorian seemed willing enough to try, even if the concept seemed largely peculiar for a first date.

That notion of dates, however, was nearly abruptly lost as Sebastian discovered what the magazine deemed to be Dorian's favorite song. That his lover might choose a pop song in spite of all that far finer music he had subjected the man to was nearly displeasing enough to prompt the vampire to threaten that, perhaps their love was not nearly as 'meant-to-be' as he had once thought it was. He had not truly considered, prior to that moment, just how deep Dorian's abhorrence for bugs truly went until the King stated with clear discontent that those whimsical fireflies were more inclined to induce panic within him. Fireflies! He was hardly prepared for that look of near disdain upon the fae King's features as the vampire inquired after several other of those insects that those whom often disliked such creatures tended to enjoy and yet, the near seriousness at which Dorian was content to hate all of those near innocent creatures caused his own eyebrows to raise further as he attempted to keep in that laughter that threatened to bubble from his lips. He could hardly help that chuckle that escaped as the King showed him his arm and the way his body seemed to react at the mere mention of such a clearly awful presence of bugs, his head shaking in clear amusement.

In the wake of that mention of those insects, Sebastian was hardly prepared for the way in which Dorian shifted within his arms, distracting him by that simple press of the King's lips against his own in a kiss that was decidedly more sensual than their others thus far had been this evening. That soft pull of his lip was all but distracting from any thoughts of bugs or favorite songs or quizes, that simple show of affection near producing a soft sound within his throat as Dorian pulled away, only for the fae King's attention to shift down that ever sensitive skin of his neck to drift beneath the collar of his shirt. That touch of his lover's hand upon his thigh was no less ignored, his own body all too readily reacted to that simple touch before the man so abruptly pulled away, leaving him alone upon that sofa without the scarcest idea of what had just occurred. He was hardly prepared for the cupcake Dorian returned with but moment's later and yet, the vampire was nothing short of attentive when it came to the man he loved. He watched as that cherry was plucked off and consumed, followed by that finger dipped in icing to be licked off in a fashion that was wholly teasing now, thanks to where his thoughts were more inclined to linger.

That notion that such things were surely meant for lover's alone, however, was enough to quickly prompt the vampire to finish that quiz, the man picking up that magazine to find a question he knew the answer to, only to present it to his lover with the clear intent to sow much that e was, by the magazine's standards, certainly meant for no one else besides that Italian Monarch. He was altogether willing to allow that magazine to be taken from his fingers, the publication near abandoned on that coffee table as Dorian moved closer towards him, admitting that which he was already sure he knew. Even so, that simper was ever present upon his features in the wake of that assurance. "Good." He uttered softly, those blue eyes watching as the fae dipped the tip of his finger once again into the top of that cupcake before it was brought to his own lips. His tongue ever so gingerly caressed his lover's finger, so tasting that sweetness. It was hardly chocolate and yet, it would do. Sebastian's gaze remained entirely steady upon the man before him, that promise that he surely could have gotten every question wrong and still, Dorian would have loved him caused a soft chuckle upon his lips. "I love you too, Ma Bichette." Those words had hardly left his lips before his lover's figure leaned forward to press against his own, that sweet kiss somehow filled with far more ardour and yet, Sebastian hardly hesitated in the slightest to let his lips part with that gently coaxing, the vampire so entirely willing to let them both get lost in that physical affection in an effort to chase away all the evening had consisted of.
