    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

She was as big as a whale. As she stood in front of the mirror after her shower, she couldn’t help but examine her body as it began to change rapidly. Now that her baby was growing exponentially each week, her belly was struggling to hold it all together. Her skin was so tight she felt it might just burst. Part of her daily routine these days was lathering up her belly in coco butter in the hopes of preventing stretch marks. She was sure she had at least one on her hip. Her poor skin barely had time to adjust to the growing belly before he grew even more in what seemed like overnight.

Once she was completely dried off, she dressed in a simple pair of blue jeans that had that elastic waistband. It was not at all attractive, but it was the only thing that was holding in her giant belly these days. She wore a t-shirt that had maternity ties to ensure that it stretched around her abdomen. While she didn’t like most of the changes her body was going through, she did, however, like the fact that her bra size had grown at least two cup sizes. She supposed Troy didn’t mind either…considering he couldn’t keep his hands off them. How he found her attractive when she looked like a walrus was beyond her. She definitely didn’t feel beautiful.

Once her hair was blow-dried and straightened and her make-up was on, she decided that she looked good enough to make an appearance to the world. She made sure to make the bed and straighten the room, her nesting instincts in full force this morning. Once she was certain it was tidy, she walked towards the kitchen. She opened her fridge and looked at the options, not really feling up to eating…but the little vampire inside of her (ironically not that far from the truth) was craving O- blood this morning. That particular blood type was her least favorite, but it seemed to be all she craved these days. She sighed as she pulled out a blood bag and set it on the counter. She grabbed herself some fruit and milk and blended herself a smoothy.

Just as soon as the breakfast hit her stomach, the baby inside of her seemed to roll around wildly as if enjoying it’s own breakfast. Amelia sighed. She wasn’t sure she could ever get used to feeling the baby move and kick. It was alien feeling. Once she was finished with her breakfast, she washed her dishes and then headed up to the nursery. She still had some finishing touches.

Opening the room to the nursey, she stepped inside and sighed in contentment as she looked around the room. Since she never found out the gender of their baby, she and Troy had decided to go with a more gender-neutral theme. The nursery was painted like a giant realistic safari, with murals of African animals like lions, elephants, and giraffes. There was already a beautiful crib and changing table as well as a glider and dresser. All the furniture was in now that the painting had been completed. On today’s agenda was to unpack the miscellaneous items like the crib bedding, clothes, and other nick knacks for the room. With a sigh, Amelia began to set to work at finishing up the nursery.

ooc: the nursery looks similar to this as far as the color scheme goes.
