    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Sebastian Ellington

I thought you knew I was filthy rich
I thought you knew I never answer my phone
I thought you knew I was a late night with a bad bite I thought you knew.

A small frown crossed his lips as he stared at that lined paper in front of him, the first line had been marked with music notes and though the tune certainly sounded lovely, he was hardly certain that it fit his needs. A soft sigh left his lips as his fingers lightly brushed over those ivory keys in front of him, playing those same notes over again as he tilted his head to listen to the tune. There was the sound of a chair moving across the floor upstairs, that simple sound reverberated against the ceiling of that hushed ballroom, near prompted the vampire to freeze as his bright blue eyes shifted up, waiting in a poised fashion for any hint of footsteps down the hallway and towards the stairs. A soft breath of relief left his lips as that chair moved again, informing him that his boyfriend was remaining in his office to settle with that business that he was near required to attend to in the wake of the President's future move against the Monarchy. He knew well the King tried to keep those affairs from those few night hours his life was restricted to within the summer and yet, tonight, Sebastian had willingly embraced Dorian's absence. His gaze turned back towards the notebook in front of him. Perhaps he should call Charlie to assist him, the man already knew what he was up to in some regards but...the poor man was rather tone deaf. No, he needed someone musically inclined.

He reached for that cellphone, searching for that phone number he'd yet to text even though he promised the young vampire he would. It was a long shot and yet, he was willing to take the risk. He sent Arlo a single simple message: 'Are you busy tonight?'. He hardly expected a reply to come quickly and yet, Sebastian had only just placed his phone back down on the bench beside him before it near instantly vibrated with a response. It hardly took much coaxing to convince Arlo to provide him with his address, simply insisting that he was going to come over with a...proposal for the evening, one he was sure Arlo would enjoy. He was overselling himself, naturally, but Sebastian was willing to admit that, for this, he needed help. That was what friends did, right? Helped? He closed that notebook, tucking that pencil in the bindings to leave it on the side table by the door. It was only natural, that the vampire drifted up the stairs to inform the Monarch just where he was going and when he intended to return, the man wholly unable to leave his lover without those sweet kisses goodbye. God, Arlo was right, he was wholly whipped and yet, it was blissfully so.

On his way out, Seb made a point to grab that notebook, the man purposefully made a pit stop at one of the few music stores he knew were still open this late. He hardly favored the large chain in the slightest and yet, tonight, it fulfilled his needs. It had taken him nearly half an hour to choose the piece of equipment that he hated the least and yet, soon enough, he had those large, clunky purchases tucked under his arms as he made his way towards that address in the familiar side of the West. Soon enough, the young man was settled in front of that rather dingy apartment door, that large box settled beside him, leaning against the wall as he glanced around that rather...low cost apartment building. Sebastian might have been willing enough to venture into part of the city that were certainly beneath him and yet, he still found the squalor that some lived within to be entirely curious. His judgmental observations, however, ended quite abruptly when Arlo finally answered the door. "Carry this in for me." Sebastian spoke, thrusting a folded piano bench and equally as folded piano stand into Arlo's arms before he turned to pick up that box that held that rather expensive Yamaha keyboard.

He could tell by that baffled look upon Arlo's features that he hadn't the slightest idea of what was occurring, even as Sebastian placed that box on Arlo's table, beginning to unpack the keyboard he'd just purchased, pulling it from the styrofoam that had protected it. "So….I have a deal for you." He stated as he pulled out that keyboard, his fingers lightly brushing over it in a truly appreciative fashion. It might not have been a real piano but it was the closest he could get on such short notice. The vampire glanced up at the young man as he stood in front of that dining room table. "I will feed you….but you have to help me write a song. No lyrics. You can keep the keyboard when we're done or pawn it or whatever, it'll go for a thousand easily….but….there is a catch." This, he was sure, was more than just a little catch, in fact, this very thing might be the only thing that might cause Arlo to say no. "There's a good chance you'll fall in love with me while I play...so….what do you think?"
