Sebastian Ellington

I thought you knew I was filthy rich
I thought you knew I never answer my phone
I thought you knew I was a late night with a bad bite I thought you knew.

Arlo had a point. Even Sebastian was willing to admit that in his fairly illogical state as it was. After all, the first time that he'd truly met the man, Matteo had informed him he was looking forward to their wedding and this was far before Sebastian was even considering such a move! That had to mean something...right? Even with that knowledge, he was entirely unsure of where he stood with the enigmatic fae. One moment Matteo was attempting to talk sports with him and the very next he was giving him that unsettling stare of that basically meant 'I know every dirty secret of your entire life'. It was hard. Even so, the realization of how utterly finicky that Frenchman was prompted that inquiry of how Arlo felt of him in turn. In that moment it was necessary that he knew someone liked him and yet, he'd hardly considered those often instinctual aspects that tended to keep their species from making friends of any kind. Sebastian liked to pretend he was no territorial or possessive or short tempered and yet...he was when it came to the right situations - particularly when it came to Dorian. Yup - with Dorian there was no denying the vampire was nothing short of utterly obsessive. His thoughts even had a habit of lingering upon the fae King. At least, until Arlo had seen fit to inquire of what their combined last name would be.

The affair of names, it would seem, was a whole new catastrophe that Sebastian hadn't considered in the slightest. His whole reaction to the realization of just how utterly awful that name situation could go likely seemed...overzealous and yet, the vampire had promised his father on his deathbed to ensure everything remained within their family name for as long as he could feasibly do so. That worry was surely only worsened by the realization of all that the current reigning Prince of England had to give up for the Queen, and what too he might have to face in this foolish decision to marry Italy's King. In fact, the longer he'd considered it the more that desire to not marry the man began to grip at him if only due to the simple fact that marrying a King seemed to have little to do with love. It was frustrating to say the least and yet, it was in that near overwhelming hopelessness that gripped at him that Arlo's idle comment of being King seemed to distract him - his mind so eagerly latching onto anything other then that crushing emotion that seemed to affect him. A small shrug crossed his shoulder at that inquiry, that corner of his lips brought downward into a frown. "I...would be whatever Dorian let's me be...I suppose." His own charming, enigmatic, fearless boyfriend held all of the control. No wonder Prince Philip had been so angry! Even Sebastian had never given up all the control of anything! It was in that realization that he flopped against that sofa and half in Arlo's lap, announcing quite promptly that he didn't want to get married anymore. Maybe it was best to let things stay as they were - then he could keep all those important things and Dorian.

It was perhaps that venom within him that contributed to the vampire's capability to latch onto that new topic with such ready ease, as if that earth shattering discovery of how marriage to Dorian might ruin his very lifestyle was not nearly as devastating as it might have otherwise been. Instead, he was entirely content to spread that worry he often was forced to deal with, inquiring not only of Arlo's pet but too all the ways in which Arlo was an awful pet owner for letting the girl get run over by a car or starve or get panda-napped or any other wild variety of awful things that could happen to the poor thing while she was left all alone and outside of Arlo's care! It made him cringe to even think about it! The vampire winced at that huff that left Arlo's lips, a small pout crossing his own as he looked down with a hint of guilt upon his features. "Sorry, I didn't mean to." He muttered in a far more dejected tone then he surely should have had. There was just something about Arlo's venom that managed to intensify even the slightest emotion he had, his whole thought process nothing but a haze of feeling and sensations and near immediate reactions. Forethought was not his strongest suite at the moment, or really, much of any extended complicated thought of any kind. His revelation of his name and his concerns of Matteo were surely the most he was capable of for the rest of the evening. The further that venom made it's way through his system, the worse it only seemed to get.

In fact, it was that idea of hunger that readily gripped him at the simple mention of food - much less the thought of his lover waiting for him, not that such was even needed to get him off the sofa. His balance wavered the moment the Englishman was upright and yet, he caught himself quickly enough on the edge of the couch before declaring they needed that song! After all, it was the whole reason that Sebastian had come! The song was very very very very very super duper important. He couldn't leave without it! It was only once he was assured that notebook was within Arlo's hands that he made his way towards the door, bounding with far more energy than the usually composed vampire had. He paused at the front of that door, the vampire making a small circle as he twirled in place, trying to ensure he had everything he had arrived with. It was rather difficult if only for the simple fact that he was sure he was forgetting something...maybe. His footing was hardly any better as he practically stumbled into that door. Even so, he hardly seemed perturbed since they were going that way anyways and, quite promptly after, Sebastian forgot entirely of what he was so worried of forgetting in the first place.

The vampire took those steps far faster than he should have, missing a few here and there and yet, he caught himself on the banister the only time his feet slipped out from under him. That insistence that he should be 'slow' was met with a near pout before the man made an effort to imitate what a turtle would be like on the stairs - very, very slowly. That slowness only lasted for so long, however, before he stumbled out on the street, taking in the world with a sense of wonder and amazement. The vampire was hardly attentive in the slightest to Arlo's comment of returning home, much less where home ones. In fact, he was wholly content to follow the street lamps with their faux gas light glow that reminded him of those years he was born in. In fact, he could almost kid himself that he was back in England and human again! That idle fantasy, however, was ruined abruptly by Arlo's tug against his shirt. "Omph!" The sound left his lips at that tugging, much less the way Arlo redirected him to...well, somewhere else.

A soft huff left his lips as he turned away from those docks as Arlo demanded he focus. "Did you know Dorian used to live near here." He started, either uncaring or unaware of how utterly unhelpful such information was. "But now he lives with me in my house! I think it's um….er...maybe that wayish?" He pointed in some general direction North, even if the entire purpose of those directions was only to tell Arlo where Dorian was and not at all where he needed to go. He was hardly as willing to cross the street as his companion had, entirely insistant they had to stop and wait for the cars to go by - at least until Arlo near dragged him with him towards the park. The vampire near perked up from that eying of a near by tree at the sound of his name, his gaze quickly redirected towards his companion before following down towards the man not far in front of them. His head slowly tilted to the side as he considered how hungry he was before slowly nodding in agreement. He was hungry...how did he forget he was hungry? There was a hint of hesitation within the man at the idea of eating that poor runner, at least until Arlo insisted he had to hurry to see Dorian! He nodded quite firmly before quite gleefully walking him towards the running man, waving at him more excitedly then he should have. "Hi there!" The vampire announced, "I'm really hungry so I'm going to eat you okay? But I don't have time to make you feel good like normal because Arlo says we have to hurry to see Dorian." Sebastian continued to inform his newfound victim of his intention, only vaguly aware of that look of both shock and astonishment in the poor human's features.

He was hardly prepared for the way the boy tried to run away from him, the vampire reaching out with a hint of disdain, "No wait!" He called, frowning before so effortlessly calling to life that affinity he so often wielded. Sorry Arlo but he was trying to be quick! The runner near stopped abruptly in his tracks, turning before slowly making his way towards the vampire….along with just about everyone else in the park until there was a small crowd surrounding the Englishman. He was pretty sure he was drowning in people! They were all touchy and wanty and he could feel all their breath upon his skin and it was just too much. "Ahhh, too much, too much!" He exclaimed over them, though whether or not he was actually talking to anyone still remained to be seen. "Go away!" Sebastian whined at them, his gift so easily employing the same overwhelming amount of power to force them all away from him till they near scattered. It was with a soft huff of air that the vampire near slumped to ground, that affinity taking far more of that already dwindling magic within his blood that kept his dead body...well, undead. "Arllooo, this is hardddd." He whined, his head tossed back as if he was announcing it to the whole sky before movement from the corner of his gaze caught his eye. "Oh! Hi puppy!"
