However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

well, i know the feeling [STERLING]73.32.203.196Posted On July 24, 2017 at 12:37 AM by henry tudor

It had been weeks since the vicious attack on Sterling. Weeks since he had felt his boyfriend’s arms around his…weeks since he had seen that smile that could turn him on in a heartbeat. Weeks had gone by in what seemed like slow motion. They were full of sorrow and guilt, of blaming himself for whatever had happened to Sterling after taking him to the hospital. He tried to lose himself with his new pack, to try and learn how to control the animal inside of himself, but it was only helping so much. He had to know of Sterling’s fate.

And so, Henry had done as Tetradore had suggested. He had called every hospital in the area and none of them had a patient named Sterling Tebenbrage. When he had called the very last hospital and gotten the same answer, his heart sank into his chest. Surely such injuries would have landed him in the hospital for weeks. If not in the hospital, then in a rehab facility. He had called each of those too…only getting the same answer.

Sterling was dead.

Henry had spent the better part of the evening drinking away his grief in knowing that he had killed the one person who had ever meant anything to him. He felt so responsible and for a brief moment, he contemplating why he was even living. Perhaps he should be sentenced to death too. He was a liability to himself and to his pack. He was bound to hurt someone else.

It was then that Henry knew he could not live in that apartment any longer. Tetradore had offered him a room in The Ark…and he figured it was time he took it. He couldn’t live in his deceased boyfriend’s apartment…he just couldn’t. There was far too many memories that would haunt him. Tomorrow, he would tell the landlord to sell the items and keep the money for himself. Tonight, he would gather his belongings.

Tentatively, he walked up the steps towards the apartment door. For a moment he just stood there, wondering if he was strong enough to go in. He felt wrong going into the apartment. It felt like he was cheating on Sterling or something. So he knocked on the door with a soft rap of his knuckles against the wood. He didn’t expect an answer. After all, Sterling was dead. It just made him feel better if he knocked instead of just barging right in.
