    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

of finding yourself stuck out on the ledge73.32.203.196Posted On August 01, 2017 at 7:07 AM by henry tudor

Henry waited quietly at the door, not hearing a damn thing as the seconds ticked by. Seconds turned to minutes and Henry felt a fresh wave of tears come crawling towards the corners of his eyes. His boyfriend was dead. That was the only reason no one was at the door. He had given ample time to answer it. He sighed as he leaned against the door frame. His hands found his face and it took a great deal of effort to ward off the tears that so desperately wanted to fall. He wanted to scream and cry and hurt himself for what he had done to Sterling. He had killed a man…a man that he loved with every ounce of his being.

But just when Henry was contemplating leaving behind everything and joining his boyfriend in death, the doorknob rattled.

Eyes flew open as his hands fell towards his sides. He looked down at the doorknob as it turned slowly. The door creaked open and Henry’s eyes rested on those of Sterling’s. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Were his eyes playing a cruel trick on him? Was Sterling really there?

Henry hadn’t realized he had grown silent until Sterling asked him hesitantly if he wanted to come in. Henry was frozen. He couldn’t move, he couldn’t breathe. “You’re alive?” His words were more of a question as he looked at his boyfriend who stood lopsided in the doorway. “You’re alive.” He spoke the same words again, this time the reality of what was before him began to slowly fall into place. Sterling was alive. He wasn’t dead. Henry hadn’t killed him.

Still unable to really say anything, Henry still stood there awkwardly, trying to wrap his head around what was happening. And in an instant, it was as if a lightbulb flipped on. Henry practically flung himself at Sterling, wrapping his arms around the man in an amorous hug. His lips pressed quickly to Sterling’s, unable to hold back the feelings that washed over him.

Reality quickly came knocking and he sighed softly as he released his hold on Sterling. He took a step back, not wanting to crowd the man. “I thought you were dead…I thought I had killed you.” The tears that had threatened to fall finally began to trickle down his cheek. He truly thought he had killed his boyfriend.
