    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Those tears that flowed down Henry's cheeks had a way of near breaking Sterling's heart. Even though the man had hardly been there for him when he needed it, even though Henry had been the one to so mutilate his body. Hell, even with all their history of Henry's cheating and drug use, Sterling still loved the man. Maybe he was a fool to stay in spite of it all but he found that he cared for the man in front of him far more than he had ever expected to. He found himself almost uncertain of what to do to help his companion in the wake of those whispered words that Henry could hardly help but to cry. Even so, he willingly offered the man his hand, that soft squeeze was somehow far more gentle than he had expected. That simple sentence that Henry was happy he wasn't a murderer took Sterling completely off guard as his eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly. There was something in that phrasing that bothered him. Henry was happy he wasn't a murderer? Not that he was happy that Sterling was alive or happy Sterling was okay - no, he was just happy he wasn't a murderer. Sterling was being selfish thinking those things, wasn't he? God, he was. He purposefully attempted to offer Henry a small smile, his own voice decidedly softer than it was before. "No, you're not."

The boy hardly expected the sudden way in which Henry moved away from him and out back into the hallway, the sudden lack of the man somehow made that space feel far colder than it had before. It was confusing, all of these emotions that Henry seemed to be experiencing. One moment the man wanted him in his arms and the very next he seemed to be retreating for space. That glimpse of confusion was clear upon his features as he watched Henry's gaze turn down towards his feet. Those softly uttered words equally as baffling to the boy. "No...I thought…" He paused, unsure of how to quiet word those words he wanted to say. "I thought this was your home…" He thought he was Henry's home and yet, the man's absence left him questioning far more of their relationship then he had before. Why had Henry left? Why had he stayed gone for so long? Were they even still a couple anymore?
