    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Henry couldn’t help the way he felt. His panther half was a monster to him. Nothing good had come of that part of him. It had nearly killed the one person he loved more than anything and he still could not control it. He was seeking help, but it didn’t feel like enough. He felt like such a failure. But Sterling spoke up, telling him that he wasn’t a monster…that in time, he would begin to believe that statement as fact. Henry shook his head. “How can you say that? That part of me nearly killed you…you saw the monster…you saw what he can do.” Henry thought that his feline part could do far more damage than he had done on Sterling, but he was also not willing to find any of that out. Henry was trying to play things safe, to try and prevent something far worse from happening to anyone. He didn’t want to wake up and find out that he had killed a man. His conscious couldn’t take it.

He couldn’t handle speaking about what his other half could do. He was more interested in recognizing that he hadn’t killed Sterling and Sterling was alive. He was here and he wasn’t pushing himself away. So when he leaned into his embrace, Henry wrapped his other arm around his waist, pulling him closer so that he could kiss the man with ease.

This physical intimacy came easy for Henry. He had never been one who was good at talking about his emotions. It was hard to tell the man that he loved him. Sometimes, it was just easier to show him. This kiss wasn’t about wanting to screw the man before him…it was simply meant to show Sterling that he was happy that he was alive, that he was happy Sterling was not pushing him away, and he was happy to be home in every sense of the word.

He broke the kiss and wrapped both arms around Sterling, holding him close against his chest. He pressed a tender kiss to the top of his head as he sighed in contentment. “I am so sorry…for everything.” For nearly mauling him to death, for disappearing, for coming back. He was sorry for everything and he just wasn’t sure how to say all those things.
