    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Henry could only hope that one day he could appreciate his panther half like Sterling could. He didn’t know why the man was defending the panther, but he was. Henry would not at all be upset if the panther just left and never came back. He knew that such a dream would never come true, but he could hope that maybe in the future he could learn to control himself so he did not have to shift again. His panther was dangerous and if he could just keep the animal caged, maybe everyone might come out of this alright.

He continued to hold Sterling in his embrace, entirely unwilling to let him go just yet. He did not want to leave Sterling again. Now that he knew his boyfriend was at least alright, he felt a huge weight lift off his shoulders. Now he had to focus on building back the trust that he had no doubt broken. He couldn’t blame Sterling if he didn’t trust himself yet. Hell, Henry couldn’t even trust himself so he didn’t expect that trust to come so easily.

He apologized to Sterling for everything that had happened, not even sure if he was deserving of such forgiveness. However, Sterling’s words offered a sense of hope that Henry hadn’t felt before. Hope that they might get past this. Hope that some day, things might actually be okay. He kissed the top of his cheek. “I will spend the full moon’s with my pack…so at least you’ll be safe.” Perhaps it was a good thing that Tetradore wanted him to shift with his pack. There he could be watched over and kept in line. At least Sterling would be safe.

Wanting to spend these next few moments with Sterling, he easily picked up the boy and hoisted him into his arms with one hand beneath Sterling’s knees and the other around his waist. He carried Sterling back towards the bedroom, wanting to just hold him. He pushed open the door, a little surprised as the smell of greenery filled his nose. He flipped on the lights with his mind as he looked around. “New power, I see.” It was odd pairing – plants and fire, but it suited Sterling, he supposed. He eased the boy on the bed and then climbed in himself, kicking his shoes off as he eased into the covers. He pulled Sterling close to his body and just held him there. It wasn’t sensual at all, but Henry was unwilling to let Sterling go.
