    Hawethorn Village

Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
Her Arlo called her cute, CUTE! How many times had anyone called her cute?! Maybe when she was a panda it wasn't that uncommon but like this it was like...unheard of! Much less her own Arlo! That pink hue filled her pale cheeks, the young woman entirely aware of that heat and yet there was little she could do rather then let that rambling-ness fall from her lips, even if it merely prompted a blank stare from the man in front of her. She stepped forward, thrusting the guitar at her best of friends only to reach into her pocket and fish out that receipt to show her companion. Abigail was wholly determined to win herself back into her best friend's good grace's. After all, he was perhaps the individual in her life who actively seemed like he enjoyed her presence. Although, maybe she wasn't exactly being fair. She did sorta show up at his house like….once a week at the very least. It wasn't like she tracked down Alexis and her other friends that frequently. Maybe she should start and give them a chance too? It was something to consider, at least, until Arlo finally suggested that they step back a minute and start over. Oh! She was capable of doing that! Abigail quite quickly took TWO steps back, the girl bouncing on her toes as if waiting for the next thing he might ask of her.

Arlo's assurance that she hardly had to step back at all caused her head to tilt to the side ever so slightly in a small display of inquisitiveness. His insistence that it was 'cool' and that she shouldn't worry about it, however, saw the woman entirely inclined to stay to exactly where she was. His question as to exactly how she knew him prompted that retelling of their first ever meeting - from running away from those gangsters to leaping off the roof of that building and stealing a car, a fact that she still was quite intent to remind him of if only to ensure that the vehicle had gotten back to it's original owner. Abigail eyed him quite purposefully, watching the way in which his gaze seemed to widen only for the vampire's features to change quite abruptly in a fashion that was definitely suspicious. Oh, she totally didn't buy that one. Her lips parted, fully intending to huff at him for that vehicle only for her companion to change the topic quite abruptly on her and declare that he did forgive her for lying to him. That simple fact alone prompted that girlish squeal from her lips as she bounded forward, quite leaping into the man's arms as she threw her arms around his neck.

There was something about that moment that simply felt right to the young woman. Arlo made her feel safe in a way that no one else did. She trusted him with such unending faith. She liked the way he smelled, she liked the way he felt. She could hardly help those desires to show her affection for him, as silly as it was. The moment his arms fell from her petite waist, the young woman danced away from her best friend, that inquiry of a name finally prompting her to offer one, only for her to continue on chattering of the other names she'd had thus far. Her time with that young vampire child was by far her least favorite. It was darn near terrifying to see that young girl like her just laying there dead. She shuddered at the thought, entirely inattentive of the fashion that the very mention of another vampire coaxed such emotion within her friend. Rather, a pout crossed the young woman's lips at that scolding, the female huffing softly. "I didn't choose to hang out with her! She just picked me up and hauled me inside saying we were going to play tea!" She exclaimed, although Abigail was willing to play nice with just about anyone, even she knew that killing people was wrong.

Even so, the young woman hardly lingered long on that young vampire - after all, Abigail hadn't seen her for ages. Rather, the young woman found herself rushing towards the heart of that matter - the truth that she had been so terrified to tell him, that she had lied to him about. Briefly, the young woman gestured towards her own body as she exclaimed that, sometimes, she was a human and other times, she was, well, a Red Panda. She could see that sudden lightbulb that went off in his eyes, as if he finally made those connections of all that she had hid from him. All those memories of what they had done together, now knowing of exactly what she was. Even so, the young woman made every attempt to continue with her explanation, continuing to speak of that vampire she fondly called Mr. Chocolate man. It was only once her efforts to explain herself were fully finished that the young girl fell to silence, shifting back and forth on her toes in a hint of momentary apprehension. It was all out there now, every little bit of it. All of it was up to Arlo. He said he had forgiven her but, she supposed that was kind of sort of before he really knew what he was forgiving her for.

Abby could hardly help the way she nibbled on her bottom lip, her hazel eyes intently settled upon her best friend before his lips finally parted to tell her a name. Sebastian? Her head tilted to the side as he clarified but moments later. Well now, Mr. Chocolate man had a name. Frankly, she liked her name better. Oh my god, no wait, she could call him Count Chocula! How had she missed that little gem! She could hardly help that grin that crossed her features at that list of names she'd already internally began to come up for this Sebastian, even as her Arlo seemed content to simply stare at her for several moments longer. It was only at that inquiry if she was his (ha, he called her his) Little Bear that she nodded quite happily. The girl was quick to wave off his apology (like he needed to apologize!) with a small wave. "Oh don't worry! I mean, we survived that jump though it was really scary and um...let's just...try not to do that again okay? I was pretty sure we were going to go splat on the cement and die or something awful. But you can jump really well! I was impressed and um...well...the bar wasn't that bad. I mean...it didn't seem dodgy. It was all like...new and stuff. I'd never been in a bar before and there were so many people and...well the music was kind of awful, is it usually that loud?" The young girl was all too content to chatter on about all those experiences with him that she had never had before, much less finally voicing all those questions she had but had never gotten to ask him about.

That glimpse of amusement upon the man's features prompted a similar one upon her own, the young woman unable to help that grin that mirrored across her own face. At least until his bright blue eyes slowly turned back towards her. She perked up at the new nickname he gave her, those ears upon her hoodie near flopping at the action. "Um...well….kind of…" Abigail couldn't help that near bashful look to her features at that admittance. She truthfully hadn't had a great plan if she'd lost him besides...wait for him. And hope..a lot. It was that invitation in however, that drew her gaze upwards towards him, that beam once again returning upon the young woman's features. "Really?!" She exclaimed with a sense of glee before nodding quite enthusiastically, only to pause as he continued, this talk of a wedding wholly astonishing. "A wedding?! Whose wedding? Are we invited? Why is it important?" Her head tilted to the side, the young woman fully distracted for several moments by this talk of a wedding only for a realization to cross her features. "Wait a second, don't think this means you've gotten out of taking me to the grocery store Arlo! You promised you'd help me buy some apples next time! I will accept next next time though. That thing is kind of heavyish." She eyed that guitar in his arms, the girl hardly willing to let him go back on this promise of her store trip...even if she was entirely curious of this 'hella important wedding'.
