Sebastian Ellington

Crowned Consort of Italy

There was something distinctly pleasing about the way that Dorian had so eagerly grasped onto that invitation to join him overseas, that trip across the state clearly quite fresh in the man's mind. Those mere two days in which the fae Monarch had been gone had been nothing shy of utterly torturous and yet, he was almost glad that such had happened if only for how easy it was to coax Dorian on that plane with him. After all, this whole trip was meant for Dorian alone. It simply could not happen without the man's presence. That insistence that the fae King bring some resemblance of work was met with but a brief agreement, even if Sebastian was fairly certain that such work would simply not be done the first few days of their arrival. Still, he'd hardly had seen a reason to inform either Dorian or his assistant of such a simple fact. The vampire instead chose to remain silent and, in turn, keep that mystery of their visit alive every step of the way. From the landing in Manchester to their arrival in Tatton, all of it was so carefully veiled in intrigue, even though the Englishman was well aware that such would surely coax a near unquenchable curiosity in the Monarch he so loved. Morning, it seemed, was perhaps the only thing that might see that inquisitiveness waver. Dorian was perhaps as unwilling to rise as the undead man himself.

There was little to be hidden, truly, from Dorian now, especially with the sheer number of people that had flooded those grounds. He could hear them outside those walls, as much as he was certain the fae himself could. Sebastian placed that china teacup upon the armoire, the man content to lean heavily against it as he finally provided his lover with that hint of assistance on that final article of clothing he was searching for. Those softly uttered words of thanks coaxed only a small sound from his lips as he leaned his head against the wardrobe, his gaze still settled heavily upon the man in front of him, letting his gaze but briefly meet Dorian's own silver eyes. A soft yawn crossed his lips as he watched Dorian rise from that floor only to move to the mirror and continue his efforts to fuss over his appearance and turn it into something presentable. It was a process the man hardly felt inclined to interrupt. Afterall, he was entirely certain that there would be pictures of the pair of them at today's event at the very least, much less that little fae girl he'd had flown in from Italy to capture those precious moments tonight.

The simple thought of all he had planned for the evening had a way of bringing that hint of anxiety within him, fleeting though it was. The sound of Dorian's voice alone made him refocus enough to not wholly lose himself to that rabbit hole of concerns that had plagued him ever since that night at Arlo's apartment. This singular song surely meant far more to the vampire then any gesture of affection had in quite some time. A small simper crossed his features at Dorian's idle observations, sleepy though that gesture was. "Have I?" He inquired in a feigned sort of innocence, even if they both know well he that he had excelled in that obscurity. A small sigh left his lips in a sort of mock surrendering. "All right, I suppose I can show you this morning…" He countered, entirely willing to ensure the Monarch was let waiting just a little longer. After all, the announcement of that Flower Show was not quite the same as seeing it in actuality. There was a certain sort of wonderment to be had in all of those different gardens and the different countries of flowers that were flown in just for this very event. "We are to go out…" He stated with slow consideration, eying the man as he slowly crossed the room to close the distance between them.

Sebastian hardly protested in the slightest the way that he was drawn into his lover's arms. That place was surely one of his favorite ones to be. He leaned against those warm, hard plans of Dorian's chest. A soft sound of satisfaction was drawn from the vampire's lips at that sensation of his boyfriend's kisses fluttering so softly against his flesh. How he loved those little gestures of affection! That delicate trail almost distracting from those first few tendrils of life that so grasped his figure. "No….not yet." He uttered softly, the vampire entirely unwavering in keeping those secrets for just a few hours longer. He turned his head ever so slightly as Dorian moved from one side of his neck to the other. God the King was entirely distracting, another soft breath left his lips as his gaze remained steady upon his lover's actions. How he'd missed that very life Dorian was capable of giving him! He was entirely content to reminisce upon that singular coupling he'd had with the King when his body was alive, those feels were veritable tsunami crashing upon the shores of his sensitive flesh. He was almost remiss to have Dorian lean away, much less that knowledge that they would surely have to leave this bedroom.

Slowly, the vampire nodded in response to that idle question of whether or not he was ready to venture into the gardens beyond. That idea that Dorian had inquired after their activities to his own silent staff brought a warm chuckle to his lips, the man incapable of shaking his head ever so slightly. "I knew you would." He admitted, allowing Dorian's fingers to interlace within his own as the King tugged him from that bedroom. He was content to merely follow the man as the pair made their way through that darkened home and towards the entrance of the front door. It was only here that Sebastian saw fit to pull the King to a stop, his hand slowly pulling away from Dorian's own only to rest upon the fae King's shoulders. Slowly, he guided the man just in front of that door, his chin settled upon Dorian's own shoulder as he reached for that handle. "Are you ready?" He inquired with a certain hint of mischievousness in his voice. It was only at that small show of agreement that his fingers began to turn at that ornate handle. "Ma Bichette, I am honored to welcome you to the Royal Horticultural Society's twentieth annual Flower show." That introduction was truly all that was necessary, he was sure, as he pushed that door open, letting that warm light stream into that once dark entry way, the sound of the crowd all the more louder now than it was behind those walls.

He allowed his lover to take that first step outside, the vampire quickly following suit only to settle at the Monarch's side. "I haven't been back since the first one but...I thought you might like it." He stated with a warm grin on his features, those bright blue eyes focused entirely upon Dorian's features alone. After all, it was Dorian's thoughts on that festival that mattered most to him, far more than any who might or might not consider the fair a success. None of it mattered if Dorian did not enjoy today. Those landscaped gardens near stretched out before them, each one so meticulously landscaped by a chosen designer. There were white tents lining the middle path with award winning gardeners selling their prized creation and foods and beverages galore. There was something about that large estate that simply felt so entirely alive. Sebastian moved around the fae King, stepping down those first few steps before he held out his hand, clearly offering it to Dorian once again. "Shall we go explore?" He inquired, that warm smile entirely brightening those now alive features of the Englishman.
