Sebastian Ellington

Crowned Consort of Italy

For all that time and effort the vampire had put into planning this singular day, he'd hardly thought much of tomorrow, or the next day, or even the rest of the week. His entire focus had been so wholly devoted to ensuring this very evening went on without a hitch. A small shrug crossed his shoulders at that inquiry, "We can, if you'd like. We can stop by Italy or spend a week in France or Barcelona...time is on our side love and beyond today I have no other responsibilities here that need to be seen to." The world was quite literally open to them, there was little reason either had to stay within that home in that spiraling metropolis that so filled to the brim of the otherworldly. They could go where they pleased, see what they pleased and Sebastian had little difficulty taking advantage of the freedom that their eternal life offered them. After all, it had once been his way of life, this….settling was so different for the vampire, not that he disliked it in any fashion. His head tilted to the side ever so slightly as he considered that notion of their week a moment further. "How about...we stay for the rest of the festival and, afterwards we can take a stop in Italy and then spend a week somewhere new, hm? We're already abroad, we might as well take advantage of it." It seemed like a fair enough proposal, they could see to the Show and Dorian's work before slacking off for a whole week on the shores of some sort of foreign soil.

The prospects of the rest of their week, however, were interrupted only by bright blue flowers the fae Monarch seemed to recognize near instantly, those bluebells wholly distracting from such future plans though the Englishman hardly minded in the slightest. He allowed himself to be dragged towards those whimsical perennials, the vampire willing enough to admire those drooping flowers that seemed to so personify beauty with a hint of despondency. They hardly lingered long before that display before another sight seemed to so capture the Italian's eye, the vampire pulled abruptly from them to that large statue that seemed to rise so starkly in comparison to the bright colors that surrounded it. The sight of those crafted deer created a small simper of affection upon the man's features, his fingers lingering upon that smooth bark as he contemplated how that singular animal had so come to personify him when it was that lion his home was so known for. Still, they were quite the pleasant animal all the same and yet any further thoughts of those familial crests were interrupted by that soft press of Dorian's lips upon his cheek. A warm smile crossed his features as he so graciously accepted that gratitude, only to provide his lover with options on where he might wish to venture next.

That clear indecision that so seemed to rack his lover's frame only served to bring a sound of amusement from Sebastian's lips, though he hardly protested in the slightest as Dorian led him though those grounds and towards those naturally crafted animal shapes. He was altogether willing to pause at each passing flower that caught the King's fancy, the notion that Dorian might see fit to paint several of them, however, only brought a hint of pleasure from the man. "I should like to see that." He commented softly, the man altogether fond of Dorian's work. Those walls they'd covered with the art crafted with those songs were by far some of his favorites, the vampire keen on keeping each and every one of them regardless of how his boyfriend felt of his own work. It was no secret his thoughts on the man's skills. The displays of those animals, however, readily captured his attention as they eyed the impressive work of that horse and the cows that followed suit. That inquiry as to how he could have missed all of this for the past eighteen years, however, was met with a rather simple truth. The festival had not always been as glamorous and, last year, something else had captured his interest far greater than this.

Dorian's insistence that he certainly did require all of Sebastian's attention prompted a chuckle from the man and yet, he hardly saw a reason to argue this point. Rather, the man quite enjoyed showering the King with that attention and affection with their business did not drag either apart, much less those evenings he was forced out onto the streets in an effort to hunt. "I see no reason we cannot return next year." He responded quite readily, pausing before adding with a small subtle foreshadowing of what was to come, "There are some portions of the gardens that come to life particularly at night. Perhaps I will show you them tonight after the show has closed and everyone has left." His bright blue eyes fell upon the man at his side near intently in that moment, almost pleased with how easy Dorian was surely going to make this evening's adventure. It was near unexpected - just as too that sudden look of absolute horror that crossed the King's usually gracious features. That declaration that he disliked this sculpture drew the vampire's own decidedly skeptical gaze.

He eyed that bug in front of him, easily declaring that it hardly looked like the creature it was supposed to be, even as he inquisitively circled the object with an increasingly judgmental gaze. He was aware, vaguely, as Dorian's gaze lingering upon him as he circled though he hadn't truly realized the near protective glimpse to such a gesture. Rather, the vampire slowly returned to his lover's side only to declare the one fact he did know of that curious species - as un-bee-like as that statue was. His head nodded firmly at that inquiry, his own response entirely resolute. "Truly." At least, that seriousness remained just as long as it took for that grin to cross his own lover's features. His own attention was steadfast upon his lover at the notion of either of them being a wholly capable bee. "I think I would enjoy testing just how good of a bee you could be." He answered in response to that inquiry and yet, he could hardly deny how utterly tantalizing it was to consider a whole night spent within that bed under his lover's hands. God, how he knew he was capable of bringing the King to that precipice of satisfaction over and over again and how he relished in the idea that he might be allowed to take of the man more than once in a night as he was so often constrained to. "I live for your ideas." Sebastian spoke with a hint of that huskiness to his low lyrics, his own thoughts quite clearly having disappeared into that bedroom they were so far from.

It was, perhaps, beneficial that Dorian might be capable of distracting him from such thoughts by the sudden presence of those market stalls, that fetched apple hardly ignored and yet, he hardly anticipated that it might be tossed in his direction. He caught it easily enough, his eyebrow raising as he regarded the King with an almost questioning glance. That fact the Monarch felt inclined to tell him, however, saw him eye the apple with a glimpse of surprise. It was a curious tradition, one that he was certain could be at the epicenter of many an ancient misunderstanding and yet...he supposed it worked. "I should hope so." He responded, fishing a pound from his pocket for the seller only to bite into the fruit. That explosion of flavor was wholly unexpected, those mortal senses near delighting in that taste of food as Sebastian came to realize he was hungry. It was near blissful, as silly as such a thing was. The Englishman trailed after his companion, entirely content to offer the man a taste of that apple as they made their way towards those vineyards and yet, for once the wine his grounds could produce near paled in comparison to the market they'd only just left behind. God, he could only imagine how delicious chocolate must taste like!
