Sebastian Ellington

Crowned Consort of Italy

Although the Englishman had certainly offered that suggestion that they might visit France or any of the other number of European cities, there was a part of him that still held some fluttering hint of anxiety at the notion of vacationing with his boyfriend's father. There was something about the elder fae that unsettled him. He was hardly scared of the man and it certainly wasn't those instincts that warned him of danger - rather, he almost felt as if he was measuring up against some sort of impossible standard for what Matteo had hoped Dorian might find in a significant other. And then, in the next fleeting moment the man seemed to make an effort to be chummy. It was enough to leave Sebastian entirely uncertain of where he stood though, at least his latest conversation with the man had made him hopeful, to a degree. He offered his lover a warm simper, nodding in agreement that their little trip might extend in a vacation that ended in France. After all, he had promised the King that he would take him to see the Mona Lisa, much less the whole day he was certain Dorian would enjoy spending within the Louvre and dinner on the Eiffel Tower. In fact, he was fully capable of turning that trip into a rather romantic rendezvous.

He was far more willing to keep those thoughts to himself, however, as he wandered along side his lover, those deer he was so fond of left with but a brief photo. He watched as the King took pictures of several other of the displays, those flowers clearly of immense interest to the man, enough to warrant the idle comment that he wished to paint them at some point. The vampire had little doubt that whatever work Dorian saw to busy himself with would turn into something equally as marvelous in it's own right. He thoroughly enjoyed each of those minute creations the fae King set to paper, even those idle doodles crafted in boredom in the midst of some dull Skype meeting had a fashion of finding themselves pinned somewhere around that house. Whatever art came of this would surely earn it's place amongst their walls at some point or another. His own attention, however, shifted easily to the art that adorned his own gardens. Those animal sculptures made from all manner of plant life were awe-inspiring in their own way. From that horse that had been immortalized mid-stride to those cows that had seen to grazing upon that manicured lawn, all of it was created with such remarkable care.

Sebastian was hardly surprised, truly, that Dorian might wish to return here next year. In fact, it was near readily offered to his lover if such could prompt such irrevocable joy within the man. Those gardens and this festival provided a nice backdrop for all sorts of memories that could be made amongst those hedges and trimmed rows - that song tonight would surely be one of them. In fact, it was almost easy, the way Dorian near offered him an excuse to take the fae King out on those pebbled pathways once that sun set beyond the horizon. Any thoughts of what their evening might hold, however, was interrupted by that sudden shift to his lover's features, that statue of that ant like bee so fully drew his own attention in those moments after as he studied it with such a critical eye. His judgement of the creature, however, ended with the sharing of a rather unorthodox fact, one that he was certain they both might enjoy. That suggestion that they might enjoy spending the entirety of a night within those bed sheets, if only to further test their own capabilities as being those males bees near instantly managed to coax his own thoughts into far more carnal places, his own tone holding a hint of huskiness that surely gave away those considerations that existed within his mind.

The vampire was entirely content to sincerely consider how many times he was capable of taking the King and be taken in turn, his own undead body certainly had the upperhand in this challenge. "I think….five times is a very achievable goal...if you are capable of it, Ma Biche." He inquired, that roguish grin settled upon his features and yet, the idea of this 'next time', though not nearly as applicable as it once was considering their active sex life, still taunted him with what could be within that near future. It was hardly surprising, the way Dorian was willing to let his thoughts simply linger in those sensual daydreams as the Monarch moved on to the fruit stands and markets that lined the path with it's white tents. That plucked apple was hardly ignored and yet, Sebastian hadn't expected the way it was tossed towards him or that factoid that left his King's lips. Dorian often relished in those little tidbits of knowledge, this one almost unsurprising if only because it was very much within the King's persona to have some such useless fact of everything. Even so, that apple looked particularly...appetizing, enough to prompt him to fish those necessary pounds from the depths of his pocket before carefully biting into the fruit himself. Those fangs made eating fruit in such a fashion particularly difficult, those pointed teeth left distinct marks within the flesh of that fruit, even as he handed it to Dorian.

How utterly glorious that taste was upon his tongue, that fruit far sweeter then he remembered it being and yet, it's simple existence seemed to prompt within him his own body's need for food. The last time he had indulged in any sort of subsistence of the non-blood variety was that chocolate molten cake at that vampire friendly restaurant they'd often taken to visiting and even then, it had been near months. His mortal flesh quite near demanded to be sedated, his stomach almost gurgling with that first hint of food. That sound, however, clearly was loud enough for his own lover to catch on it, enough to prompt a comment near laced with amusement. "I've sort of forgotten what it's like to be alive…" The vampire returned with a certain hint of bashfulness. Those bright blue eyes followed Dorian's own to those stalls they were leaving and yet, he was hardly willing to admit how utterly delicious all of that foot smelled. In those precious moments, it seemed as if his boyfriend was entirely aware of those thoughts, the man retreating from him far before he even had a chance to protest, leaving the vampire alone within that festival.

His own gaze remained steady upon his lover, watching from that position as he moved through those stalls. A part of it was near habitual, even if those territorial senses had all but dimmed in the wake of his life. Another part, however, found himself entirely paranoid of that distance between them when he so near relied upon Dorian's own gift to even step foot outside without burning into ashen bits. They'd never before tested the distance that could exist before the King's power waned. Dorian was always right at his side and the sudden absence of that reassurance prompted a hint of anxiety within him. Thankfully, his lover hardly made him wait long before returning to his side with a small box in tow. Sebastian's eyebrows rose in a questioning fashion as he was presented that gift, his own fingers working at the top quite as those smells hit him. His bright blue eyes danced over the contents as Dorian made an effort to explain what he held, the King pointing each and every object and yet, it was that chocolate that near immediately called to his attention. It was as if Dorian knew of that idle fantasy that had so toyed with his thoughts!

It was only natural that he should pluck that strawberry from the corner first. After all, how often did he get to indulge in dessert first? Sebastian was particularly careful of his fangs as he placed the tip of that dipped fruit in his mouth, biting down only for that explosion of sweetness to so course his tongue. A sound of satisfaction reverberated in his throat whilst he chewed on that chocolate, swallowing only to offer a groan of regret. "Either this is obscenely good, or being dead is bloody hell." He commented, lamenting that lack of taste buds his undead self must have had, unless this chocolate was near heaven! He offered the King a bit of that dessert, as if near demanding his own thoughts on that sweet. His lover's idle comment that this was the first thing the King had ever purchased almost made him pause in consideration, his head tilting to the side as he considered what he intended to consume next. "I'm honored to be the source of your first purchase." He spoke, that grin settled upon his features. Sebastian himself had little problem with their arrangement, as far as things financially were concerned. He often hardly even bothered to inquire to the King who should pay for what, the man almost always habitually handing over his own bank card and yet, that Dorian might buy something for him was...decidedly sweet. He plucked a piece of cheese from the box, entirely willing to follow his lover to the vineyard now that his own hunger was being seen to - though, frankly, he doubted his own abilities now to hold down any liquor with the same ease he usually did.
