Sebastian Ellington

Crowned Consort of Italy

Truly, Sebastian could scarcely imagine what weddings must have been like within Dorian's age, several hundred years before his existence had even been considered. After all, wedding customs now vastly differed from those of his own youth, much less his own marriage. He could only imagine how those traditions had changed even further still from the last one Dorian had witnessed. He nodded ever so slightly, even if he knew well he was setting himself up to spending near hours upon that sofa to watch the rather recent marriage of Prince William and Princess Kate. He was entirely assured even Dorian was not truly prepared for how daunting of a task it was that he requested, much less how truly daunting their own wedding was about to be if held by the same standards as that British Royal Wedding. Thankfully, time was within their favor, their own inexhaustibly long lives near promising they could certainly take as long as they desired to get those affairs in order and ensure that wedding was done correctly. "Perhaps when we get back from France we can make a night of it." The Englishman offered, that warm grin settled upon his features. It was surely going to be the first of many nights spent they would surely spend together planning that affair. Even so, his lips gingerly pressed against the King's forehead in an effort to reassure the man they'd certainly figure out each minute detail of that wedding.

His dark blue eyes briefly dropped towards his hand as Dorian's fingers interlaced with his own. He knew well they could hardly linger outside of that estate forever and yet, he was almost remiss to say goodbye to that peace and quiet the two had found within one another - basking in that happiness together as it surely should be. He allowed his attention to shift to that piano at that hint of concern that laced the Monarch's voice, the vampire leaned forward, softly blowing out those candles as he finally released his own affinity from the crystalline surface of the piano. He was quick to assure the King he doubted the piano would come to any arm from the weather, after all it was unlikely tonight that it would rain and soon enough it would be covered again by those plastic tarps that had kept it safe thus far till a more permanent home was given to it. It was that very idea of finding it a resting place of sorts that prompted that suggestion on his lips that, perhaps, this piano might find it's place amongst Dorian's palaces, after all, how own homes each held their own exquisite piano as it was. That glimpse of surprise hardly went unnoticed by the man and yet, Dorian seemed to be near pleased with the idea - a prospect which was equally as delightful to him. That Dorian already knew exactly which room within Turin might best suit that magnificent instrument was surely all the better, prompting a prompt assurance from Sebastian that he'd see to it the piano was taken care of accordingly. "I'll see to it that it makes the journey there then. This one might too need a special name." He commented, his own gaze turning near affectionately towards that piano. After all, this one was distinctly unlike all of the others, exactly as Bernard had been.

Such considerations, however, were put off for another time as Dorian rose from that place upon the bench only to lead the way back towards that house and it's surely eagerly awaiting occupants. The foyer was quite near empty and yet, Sebastian could feel the tension within that great room well before the couple even paused before the door way. He could feel the weight of their eyes upon them, searching for some indication of what the answer should be - at least, until that wide grin settled upon the Monarch's features, the man quite content to declare exactly what the all surely wished to know. That applause was near instant, as too was the sudden popping of several champagne bottles and the pouring of those glasses before the couple was greeted with the congratulations of several of his own staff members. It was but the sound of Dorian's name that drew even the vampire's attention away from his own staff members. There was something simply...nice, of seeing Matteo there for Dorian now that he was finally given that chance to be the father he both had been unable to be and that Dorian once had so wished of him. That sudden hug the King had been pulled into prompted a warm grin upon his features, even if it was clearly unexpected by them both. He was equally as surprised, really, that Matteo seemed inclined to pull him into that same embrace - that singular gestures distinctly more...affectionate than Matteo had ever been towards either of them. His gaze briefly met the baffled glance of Dorian's own as his father left them with the same abruptness as he came, only to be replaced by the Dark Hunter that had taken up that role of Dorian's Godfather.

The vampire was content to simply look on during that interaction between Dorian and his own family of sorts, at least until the Macedonian King turned to address him directly. Sebastian was altogether quick to assure the man he had every intention of looking after the Italian Monarch, his own words distinctly solemn. It was enough, apparently to prompt some glimpse of satisfaction upon those stoic features before Alexander too seemed to depart in the same bizarre fashion. That passing tray of champagne, however, was readily reached for, that flute plucked from the multitude of others before raising to his lips. Dear God he'd missed that taste of wine, much less the rich flavor of those grown in his own vineyards. It was only in the wake of Dorian's own voice that Sebastian's attention shifted, a soft sound of agreement reverberating in the back of his throat. "It is, I thought it might be nice to keep the tradition of her being our own little photographer. Though we might want to consider offering to send her to some sort of….photography school or something." A small shrug crossed his shoulders at the suggestion, not that her work was not already magnificent but, considering her clear passion for that camera, he could only assume she would jump at the chance to learn more.

His attention turned from that suggestion Dorian's idle comment of Matteo and that near peculiar hug, that conclusion that he had merely been 'delighted' prompted a soft chuckle on his own lips. "I think, Ma Biche, he is merely happy to be apart of your life again." He commented, his own fingers gingerly squeezing Dorian's own in response to that small gesture of affection. Sebastian remained at his fiance's side during the entire length of that little party, accepting each and every one of those generous words of good wishes and yet, even he could not deny a hint of joy when that great room slowly began to thin. The sun would be rising soon and Sebastian was near exhausted, much less hungry after all of the day's events. He was near grateful for that moment in which they were finally able to excuse themselves, the vampire near eager to peel those clothes off his form.

His dark navy eyes remained steady upon the King, simply content to watch the fashion Dorian near wiggled from his clothes after collapsing upon that bed. A glimpse of surprised crossed his lips as Dorian quite suddenly saw fit to inform him of Matteo's purchase of several cases of his wise, his eyebrows raising ever so slightly. "Really?" He inquired, near astonished Matteo might take a preference to his own vineyards when he surely had the plethora of France at his fingertips. His consideration of such a thing, however, was interrupted by Dorian's further speaking of that enthusiastic puppy he'd rescued from that drug dealer that near month prior. That grin darted across his features at the King's sudden declaration of Maxwell's appearance compared to the other dogs in the neighborhood, his head shaking ever so slightly. "I'm certain Charles hasn't forgotten." He made the effort to reassure his lover all the same. It was near amusing, the way the dog had so quickly found a place within their home, much less the sudden increase of pet related things that they'd purchased in the wake of that first night. He was, Sebastian was assured, the most spoiled dog he knew and yet, the vampire saw little reason to make that change.

The Englishman slipped between those sheets but moment's later, sinking within that plush mattress that seemed to so eagerly embrace his form. That bed was nothing short of utterly exquisite. His gaze darted towards Dorian as the man moved closer, his lips gingerly pressing against his fiance's own in that sweet moment. He could hardly help that warm grin that spread across his features at those words that followed the wake of that kiss, that warmth surely spread throughout his entire chest, his heart certainly skipping a beat. If only Dorian knew the effect he had upon him - even to this day. "I don't think I will ever tire of hearing that." He admitted, nestling closer towards the King as his arms drew around the man, "And I can't wait to be yours." Sebastian uttered softly, entirely determined to return that sentiment all the same.
