Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Andras is slightly distracted as his eyes scan the shadows, therefore, he hadn’t realized just how much he had scared the girl. Blinking back down at her, he darts a hand out, faster than the eye can see, to steady her stumbling frame. Once she is properly taken care of, he returns his hand to his side, that lazy smile blossoming on his lips. Noting the way, her own hands go up to that pocket in her quote has Andras arch a questioning brow, what could possibly be so precious that Lani would protect first rather than herself.

It takes a moment before the human can realize that she is in no danger, her wide eyes narrowing after releasing a breath. And during the time she gets herself under control, the Fae simply continues to draw out the smile, is if he had all the time in the world. And let’s be honest, he was immortal; he had all the time in the world. “Yes, it is me,” he drawls wickedly, giving a small shrug to his shoulder. It still dumbfounded the man that she would wander into the night alone after two warnings. She clearly had a death wish.

After his firm scolding, Lani pulls the camera he had gifted to her out of her pocket, his brows shoot nearly into his hairline, exasperation clearly written on his features. “You’ve got to be kidding me,” he mumbles at her, but allows the girl to take his arm after the brief hesitation on her part. Shaking his head, he allows his hearing to remain on the shadowy lurker, yet, the night prowler had vanished. Cursing inwardly at himself, he was disappointed he allowed the brief moment of distraction by Lani to keep him from monitoring the undead. Andras was certain he would have several long nights ahead of him.

Pushing the thoughts away, he returns his hazel eyes to Lani, listening to her patiently, though he wanted nothing more than to throttle the girl. “You couldn’t have looked for me in the morning?” he questions her dryly, though there’s a note of satisfaction in the back of his mind. Not that he should be pleased she sought him out, but he was, nonetheless. As she goes on about thanking him, he merely gives her a look of disbelief, “You do not need to thank me, Lani. I merely returned to you what was owed,” he shrugs, refusing to accept her thanks. If anything, the human girl should still be angry at him for destroying such a precious item.

It was a touch… shocking.

As they travel on in a moment of silence, he keeps his eyes peeled for the creature that so lurked after Lani before, and still, he could not come up with even a whiff of him. Perhaps he would return this evening and track the beast down. Andras would enjoy having a chat with his soon to be friend. As she speaks again, those feminine tones reaching his pointed ears, he allows another glance at her, relishing the warmth of her touch at the crease of his elbow.

“Coffee sounds delightful,” he replies, just as they reach her door. Releasing her arm, he beckons her forward to allow her to open the door for them. “Let us get settled and I’m all yours for the night,” he casts her a wicked smile as a bit of darkness dances in his eyes.
