However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Truly, it is rather difficult for Andras to to hold back that laughter that so threatens to spill from his lips as Dorian all but chokes on his tea and Lani’s fork clattering to the plate in turn. Lani seems to be at a lost for words as Dorian exclaims at Andras, making it incredibly clear who the monarch blamed for such displays of public indecencies. His grin only widens as Dorian seems to come to terms with it, his hazel eyes training on Lani once more as she firmly shakes her head, that musical voice of hers assuring their host that they were indeed clothed, fully clothed at that. It is then that the Fee man tilts his head back and releases that roaring laughter, hardly missing the way Lani looks at him in a flustered manner though there is such defiance in her blue eyes. As his laughter dies down, his amused gaze turns on Dorian, offering a shrug at their conversation, “I was only teasing,” he states, raising a hand as if that simple gesture could make that embarrassment go away, “I was in the woods with my wings out, she happened to take a photo and I did what any civilized faerie would do on the run, I broke it,” he offers the truth to Dorian, his trust in the fellow faerie unshakeable.

Before the man can interrupt him with a severe scolding, Andras raises a hand, “Don’t worry, I bought her a new one,” Andras responds quickly, not wanting Dorian to think poorly of him, though Andras had indeed made an entirely brash decision in breaking the metal device initially. As their conversation shifts to the use of cutlery, Andras is entirely surprised to find that Dorian is rolling his eyes at him, Andras merely feigning a hurtful look, “Ah, I don’t think I’ll ever learn, my friend,” he laughs darkly rather enjoying the playful conversation and getting a chance to learn more about Dorian and Lani in the process. As they talk about the wedding, Andras is content to settle back and listen to the two speak, Dorian so explaining that the woman needed to explore the countryside. His ears perk up slightly at that and even more when Lani responds declaring she had never been to Italy. “I’d be happy to show you around Italy, Lani darling,” he offers to the woman, “I suppose if we will be sitting next to each other at the wedding I can be your tour guide as well,” he explains, “Of course, only if you would like.”

Andras is content to allow Dorian to speak about the nature of Dark Hunter’s, the man had yet to meet someone of such a race that was altogether pleasant towards faeries. Though, he’s surprised when Dorian casually drops the name of a man that runs a local shop, only to name that certain hunter as his Godfather. Andras’s brows raise in surprise, it had been the first he had heard of such a man and though he had nothing to fear it was good to keep tabs on him. Dark hazel eyes travel to Lani then, her eyes wide as saucers as she takes in all the new information. He could only imagine how terribly confusing it was for her, the dark man going as far as to offer her an apologetic smile in turn. He was certain she would have questions, many, many, questions and he’s surprised to see that she holds her tongue either from pure speechlessness or she merely wanted to wait until a more private time. Either worked for the faerie, Andras hardly minding on explaining whatever the woman needed to know now that she had been so fully absorbed into the supernatural world.

When Dorian turns his questioning onto Andras, the faerie merely shakes his head as he takes mental notes of the information provided, his brows arching in surprise as he states that he had a roommate at one point, “I’m a little surprised, Dorian, that you shared a house with a woman,” Andras drawls lazily, almost teasingly, it was so unheard of to hear of Dorian breaking through those age old manners. His eyes remain amused all the same as his mind works the rest of the information he had received, “Perhaps, it wouldn’t be a terrible idea to meet with the leaders of Sacrosanct,” Andras muses thoughtfully before returning his attention to Lani, simply questioning her on what she thought of faeries, his gaze noting the way that Dorian seems to perk up at his question as well. The woman is quick to respond, that devilish smile dancing upon his lips as Andras regards her openly, “Careful, we aren’t all good natured. There are faeries that like to appeal to that trickster side you hear so many stories about us,” Andras nods, thinking back to the many faeries he had met in his past. “There are also dark faeries out there and I can assure you there is nothing pleasant about them.”

Lani’s next statement has a chuckle falling from the tip of his tongue, his eyes bright with amusement, “You’re thinking of pixies. Though, I think we might be much more adorable if we were only a few inches tall. What do you think, Dorian?” Andras asks the man, his hazel eyes turning onto him once more, those teasing notes filling the air again.
