However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

A vague hint of amusement crossed the Englishman's features at that banter the pair before him seemed to partake in at the mention of how quickly that pregnancy seemed to be progressing. He understood that sentiment all too well within that moment - how mere months could feel as if an eternity had existed when that sheer unequivocal love so swept one beneath its sway. After all, the vampire himself had been so particularly assured of his adoration for the fae King to prompt a proposal from his lips when their relationship too had consisted of little more than a year and a half. That small shift within his fiance's figure drew his own gaze as Dorian leaned further against him, that near miniscule action had a fashion of prompting a soft simper upon the vampire's features, his own grip tightening upon the man ever so slightly. There was little question within him that they were perhaps equally as capable of getting so incredibly lost within one another, even in the face of the public. Even so, this was the first dinner party either had been invited to by friends, that alone surely prompted a measure of politeness within the courtly man.

It was that very civilness within him that prompted his efforts to follow along in that conversation of that unborn child, even despite the man's own general disinterest in the topic. Sebastian hardly disliked children and the birth of one to a vampire was certainly intriguing and yet, it was Dorian's own near unending curiosity that the Englishman had made that effort to ensure tonight's dinner came to fruition. He hardly anticipated for Amelia's own speculation on the species of her child, that single sentence alone prompted a raise of his brow. Such had been his hypothesis ever since the fae King had mentioned the impossibility of that babe's conception all those months ago. He knew well Dorian's intention to see that very life within the unborn child, that sentence from the fae King was enough to prompt an almost inquisitive glance from the man. Did that mean then…? Had he checked? Fortunately, it was that mention of their own recent adoption that tugged at the Englishman's attention. He could hardly help that chuckle on his lips, all too aware of that photo Dorian was plucking from his phone. That puppy had become the closest thing the couple would ever have as an actual child.

He watched as Dorian pulled up that picture of the puppy, Amelia quite near cooing over the energetic little dog. That flickering of those lights upon his vision caused only the smallest glimpses of surprise to fleetingly cross his features. That power was one he knew well, one that allowed him the ability to see that which Dorian already had - the distinct lack of life that surrounded both Amelia, the child, and himself. It only served to confirm the party's suspicions at large, his own hand ever so subtly tightening upon his lover's waist in an unspoken sort of acknowledgement of that which they could only speak of later. Even despite that affinity that had momentarily embraced him, Sebastian remained vigilant to the conversation at hand, the man adding in his own sort of soft sigh at Maxwell's teething phase. "He's made toys out of at least four pair of socks already." He commented and yet, even such a complaint was said in jest rather than any true annoyance. That sudden announcement of dinner, however, and it's accompanying request to follow brought an end to any further discussion of their own child of sorts, the man altogether willing to follow the fae King into that dining room.

That rather abrupt stop caused a glimpse of concern upon his own features as Troy rushed to Amelia's side. It was clear the woman was in pain, the very air itself seemed to change in that moment to a sort of anticipation. Troy's insistence that this was not normal only furthered that frown upon his features, his head bobbing in silent agreement that perhaps Amelia should see her physician. His blue eyes met the silver hue of his fiance's own, his hand momentarily squeezing Dorian's in a small attempt to reassure the Monarch. "I think, Dorian is right. We can have dinner again at another time, caring for your child always comes first." Nevermind that simple fact that neither man truly wished to be involved in that birthing process if, heaven forbid, that was exactly what was occurring. Frankly, escaping that house sounded far more promising. It was, after all, a moment meant for the child's parents and one neither he nor Dorian wished to invade upon.
