    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Nadya began to clean up the food on the counter in preparation of leaving. “I went to school but it wasn’t a supernatural only one. Our pack was a good size but we still lived near enough to town that all the kids went to normal school. We just missed a day or two during the month but no one took much notice. Either that or they probably thought we were some sort of cult so didn’t question it.” She shrugged slightly. “I don’t think it will make a difference for you if your tutor is human or supernatural. Education is education.”

With a soft smile Nadya motioned for Malia to follow her from the kitchen. She slipped on her shoes and grabbed her purse before leading her pack member from the house to where her matte black BMW sat outside. It wasn’t a long drive from the house to the small building nestled on the corner of a street in the more upper-class district. It was a nondescript stone building with a simple wooden sign hanging by the door that read Academy. There was no need to advertise what it was seeing as it was only meant for specific members and not just anyone driving by.

Inside it was brightly lit with a hallway leading down the length. The sounds of children drifted out from the rooms on either side of the hallway. “The pre-school is at the end.” Nadya explained simply, leading down the hallway past the other rooms to where she leaned casually over the half-door of the preschool room. She motioned for Malia to be quiet for a moment and pointed into the room for her to see the twins. The twins had yet to realize their mother had arrived and were sitting at a small plastic table attempting to color on the same piece of paper.

“Good afternoon Miss. Tetradore.” The main teacher smiled as she approached Nadya and Malia. “How were they today?” Nadya questioned lightly as she took the clipboard offered to her and signed the pair out. “Fine, fine…though I think that they’re bored with their snacks. They were very persistent in trying to get Katie’s blueberries today.” “…They don’t like blueberries.” The teacher chuckled, “They’ve changed their minds.” Nadya rolled her eyes, “Of course they have.” She opened the half door for Malia to enter first before following her. The sound of their mother had the twins already abandoning their play to hurry over. Izzy was first as always while Micah was much more laid back. Izzy held up their colored paper for Nadya to see, “I color for you with Micah.” Nadya smiled and nodded but pointed to Malia instead. “I brought Malia with me to pick you two up. Do you remember her?”

Both Izzy and Micah looked over at Malia whom they hadn’t seen before in her human form. Micah held fast to his mother’s hand and leaned back heavily against her. He was as shy as ever. Izzy slowly held up the colored paper for Malia to investigate. “I color with Micah. Micah my brother.” Well, it was a start.
