    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

He didn't know what had been the driving force for her going into that burlesque last night but he couldn't be more glad that she did. He hoped he had made a good first impression by stepping up to that man. He knew she could take care of herself and she probably would have figured her own way out of it eventually but he wouldn't take back what he did. It was the right thing to do. For him, it was the only thing to do. He could tell she found it hard to trust people and with just the little she'd told him about her parents, he didn't blame her. He couldn't imagine being sold out to the richest bidder and having to entertain other people like a horse at auction, just waiting for someone to take a liking and scoop her up. No choice. It sounded downright cruel. She dazzled him with her glittering eyes, asking if he was giving her another challenge. He laughed. "Maybe I am." Then they moved the subject to another ride on the back of his harley and he smirked as she said she looked forward to it. He wanted to say that he did too but he didn't want to come across as too eager.

They connected over almost anything they talked about, the silence in between not awkward or uncomfortable. When he asked for her help, she whispered that she would do anything for him and it struck a chord. He felt his whole body tingle in response, his gaze deepening with untold wants before he pulled himself away and turned his gaze elsewhere to compose himself. He finally back around to give the dogs attention, or rather Reginald, since he was the only one to indulge Taylor. Then he had that ridiculous notion to kiss Adelaide and the moment was broken by Townsend arriving back home. The tension in the air was palpable but Adelaide only seemed amused, coming to sit beside Taylor as if it were the most natural thing in the world. As if it were something they did every day. He tried not to let such silly notions fill his head, focusing instead on trying to have a friendly conversation with Townsend. He had to start somewhere. He kept it up until Townsend went out with the dogs, but not without giving them one last warning look.

Her words took him off guard and he felt his lip quirking as he took another generous helping of food. "Well, it's good to hear that, since I enjoy spending time with you." He nudged his shoulder into hers playfully. He finished eating just a little after her since he tended to glance over and watch her probably more than he should. He watched her clean up, giving her a smile as she moved to go upstairs. "It was. We'll have to do it again sometime." He smirked teasingly, finishing off his plate. He cleaned it off in the sink since that seemed the polite thing to do, before making his way outside. "Ok, let's do this." He murmured to himself as he closed the door behind him, glancing toward the stairs before he headed on out into the yard. He made his way to the garden, coming to stand beside Townsend with his hands in his pockets. "So, boss, what's first?" He gave him his most charming smile. Alright, here goes.
