However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

you were the answer to my dreams

That gentle brush of those sweet lips against his cold flesh certainly stirred a sort of wakefulness within the vampire, one that existed far beyond his own mind. That warm breath as it glided across his skin toyed with that freshly awoken body, provoking a very physical reaction at each kiss he was assaulted with. Those mornings hardly took much, admittedly, to so bring the man's more carnal urges to life. His body pressed against his lover's form in those moments, entirely aware that such would surely give away his own desires and yet, the vampire was wholly caught off guard by that realization of flesh against his skin. His eyes fluttered open with a hint of surprise upon his features, only to have the Monarch shift to his stomach and away from him. It was disappointing, that distance that now existed between them and yet, Sebastian had time to comment on it before his lover inquired if he knew what day it was. Naturally, the vampire was well aware of what his fiance was referring to. After all, this evening would be the first of his birthdays they had celebrated together, even if the Englishman was entirely keen to pretend it was hardly a special day at all.

He was almost unsurprised by that look the fae Monarch gave him in the wake of that comment upon the day of the week. That stolen kiss was all too sweetly returned, even despite the mention of his birthday that came in tow of it. His mouth near hungrily met Dorian's own at that second kiss he was provided, this one surely only furthered that stirring of those cravings, even as his hand gingerly swept down the length of his fiance's figure, those hands searching all too diligently for a waistband they never once encountered. Instead, it was Dorian's bare hip that his hands moved to settle on, that touch entirely fleeting as his lover pulled away. Those softly uttered words coaxed a sound of appreciation from the vampire as he leaned forward to steal but one final sweet kiss from the Italian. "Dio, lo faccio…" (God, I do). He muttered, those words drawn out with that hint of husky desire still subtly lacing that foreign lit. He was almost certain he might not terribly mind his birthday this year, if it started on such a particularly good note as this one, not that Sebastian was truly that much of a stranger to not quite making it out of their shared bed in the morning before he demanded his lover's attention.

It was almost unfortunate that the fae King himself was not one of those presents his lover mentioned soon after, even if the sheer description the King had provided him of those sizes certainly made is thoughts….wander. As it was, the man was easily distracted from that inquiry by a sound that he had not quite realized before, one that was distinctly out of place for its own reason. It wasn't often he was gifted with rain on his birthday, those navy eyes shifted towards the window as his eyebrows furrowed in an almost quizzical fashion. It didn't smell like the sky did when it rained and yet, that sound of water was so distinct that it baffled him. That nod he was given, however, easily brushed away any suspicion he might have otherwise had. After all, his own senses were so often dulled to those more akin to a mere mortal in those moments just after waking, before he had partaken in that blood his body both needed and craved. Even so, his head bobbed ever so slightly as those dark colored eyes turned back towards the enchanting silver hue of his fiance's. "I do...I always have." He admitted, providing that sound no further thought beyond that simple desire to remain nestled in the sheets with the King, a want that was certainly only furthered by that awful weather outside that he found so comforting.

Sebastian turned his attention back towards that talk of presents, the man finally agreeing to the smaller of those two. He watched as the Monarch shifted towards that bedside table, only to produce a wrapped box several moments later. He could hardly help that snort that left his nose at the mere mention of that city he had discovered would be his upon their marriage in several months time. Sebastian had known well that things would change thanks to that newfound status afforded to him as Dorian's husband and yet, he had not quite anticipated all that came with that married into royalty. It hardly mattered to him, all the same, really. Dorian could have been little more than a peasant and Sebastian was certain he would loved him all the same.

The vampire took that box that was handed to him, pulling apart that wrapping paper only after a moment of appreciation given to that golden bow. He hardly anticipated that box of papers he found himself staring at. The vampire shifted, sitting upwards ever so slightly so his back was against the pillows. He watched as his lover plucked the first card from the top of that pile, flipping it over in his hand to display that decorative front. Slowly, he reached out for that card as Dorian pointed out all of those little decorations that the fae himself had drawn. "They're lovely…" He commented softly as he inspected that handiwork that clearly had been done with such meticulous care. His gaze flickered back towards that box as Dorian leaned forward, mentioning only further stationary needs that he had taken it upon himself to fulfill. It had been sometime, truthfully, since the vampire had held any need for such things as this and yet, it too had been sometime since anyone had felt fit to be nearly as generous as their 'fans' around the world. That sudden comment of his like for those cards, however, prompted a nod from the vampire.

"I do, Dorian, this was...wonderful. In fact…" He paused in a contemplative thought, shifting only to his own night stand to dig in that top drawer for a pen. He balanced that card within his fingers on the top of the box, that pen easily scribbling across the inside of that card. He took extra care to ensure that Dorian was unable to see that little writing, even despite that impish grin that settled upon his features with each passing word. It was only once he was done that he leaned back against those pillows, closing that card to present it to the fae King. "There, now I've used my first one." He informed his lover as he deposited that pen upon that nightstand, a rather smug simper settled upon his lips. In the inside of that card he'd penned a rather poor poem of sorts, those lines reading, 'Roses are Red. Violets are Blue. You look the sexiest without clothes on too!'.
