    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

He groaned as the alarm started chiming. Lazily, he reached over, slapping at the button he knew was there until the incessant blaring stopped. He thought about pretending it never happened and just going back to sleep for all of two seconds. But then an image of Adelaide and an annoyed Townsend saying "I told you so" ran through his head and he groaned again in surrender before sitting up and throwing his legs off the bed. Time to start another morning of work. He stretched his sore muscles. It was a good sore. He always felt like he'd actually accomplished something if he was sore after working in the yard. If he wasn't sore then he obviously wasn't working hard enough in his mind. Slowly but surely he worked his way out of bed and into the shower, turning it on hot in preparation for the cool day ahead. He knew he'd end up sweating twenty minutes into the work but thats why he brought plenty of extra shirts. Needn't make Townsend frustrated with him again over going around shirtless while Adelaide watched.

He finished his shower and got out, hearing his phone go off. Walking over to it while he towel dried his scruffy hair, he smiled the minute he picked it up and saw Adelaide's name on the screen. He could get used to her good morning texts. It only made him look forward to seeing her that much more. He opened the text, his eyes lighting up as he texted a reply. "Good morning yourself, beautiful." Smiling to himself, he picked out a gray sleeveless shirt and faded jeans with holes in the knees. Good work clothes. Then he hopped on his bike and headed to Adelaide's house. He was glad Townsend havd given him the extra half an hour of sleep, telling him he didn't have to be there till 7:30 today. He already felt more awake, though maybe he was just getting used to waking up early for work. He was adapting. Or just more energized every time he got to see Adelaide. Every time they got together, they connected even more. He kept replaying that night on the hill by the city over and over again. He could still taste her lips. So sweet and promising.

As he pulled up to the house, he checked his watch. 7:29. Sighing, he got off the bike and headed to the door, knowing Townsend and Adelaide would be in the kitchen making their morning coffee. They had a routine and he was already learning it. He knocked on the door, a smile already tugging at his lips, ready for either party to answer so they could start their day.
