    The South

Although the southern parts of the city might not have the luxuries of the north or the down town vibe of the east, but these suburbs still have their own sort of charm. Here small neighborhood owned shops often run rampant, individuals often know each other by first name. The west is a quaint, quiet part of town. It's the sort of place where children can be seen playing safely on the sidewalks and clamoring in the park. On the weekends in the families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters that surround the city.

    Hyde Park

    Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

    The Outskirts

    The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often times seen as a way to guard this magical city from the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It was nothing new that Ceara didn’t care to partake in the company of her own species that often. At least those who still acted more beast than anything else; as if becoming a vampire was simply their excuse to live out those hidden murderous fantasies they had had in their mortal years. So it wasn’t surprising that the vampire had politely declined the Englishman’s invitation to go out and investigate the new vampire only bar that had opened up at the outskirts of town. Such an establishment was likely to harbor a much rowdier crowd than Ceara cared for. However, when Sebastian explained that the invitation wasn’t just any other night but his birthday then she couldn’t bring herself to hold firm to her previous refusal. No, she would go as his company. Over the brief time they had known each other due to their connection from a certain vampire child they had never actually gone out in any form that allowed them to actually know one another.

Ceara stood within her closet for a few moments debating her choice of outfit. Her usual sophisticated style that she doned as owner of her own lounge certainly wasn’t going to do for the new club. Tonight would be a time where she could actually wear something that accentuated her figure to draw eyes. Ceara slipped on the lavender corset top dress, letting her fingers trail delicately over the intricate black lace design that spiraled across the top to the waist that flared slightly down to the skirt. In her mortal years she had been only a peasant and never once wore a corset, the restrictive device being something she only had money for much later and had been grateful at the time that she didn’t have the need to breathe. The tight top of the outfit she chose would accentuate the curve of her hips and swell of her breasts as the material pushed them up for ample cleavage viewing. She slipped on a pair of black strap heels before exiting her closet, making her way over to stand before the full length mirror to appraise her wardrobe.

It was while Ceara was assessing her outfit that Sebastian appeared right on time in her doorway. Her amber eyes followed his movement through the mirror, watching as he left his place from the doorframe to settle just beside her with his fingers lingering along her hips. “Well it’s not everyday that you turn...what...205 was it?” A hint of a smirk tugged at her lips as she plucked a black diamond drop necklace from her vanity which would settle just above the point of her cleavage to draw the eye and returned to Sebastian to hold it out to him. It may not have been club attire but what was a woman without her jewelry.“Be a gentleman would you?” Ceara swept her hair aside, baring the smooth pale skin of her shoulder and back that the outfit allowed in order for Sebastian to clip the necklace on for her. Once done she turned about to give him her full attention. “I’m surprised you’re choosing to spend your time amongst others of our kind.” It had seemed that, like her, he wasn’t keen on immersing himself in the rest of the vampire world. The older vampires were loners more often than not and left the youngins to their rowdy ways which would only lead to Hunters tracking them.

Either way Ceara didn’t argue Sebastian’s choice of establishment for his special night. She followed him out and into the waiting vehicle which took them to their destination. Ceara’s eyes adjusted quickly to the relatively dim light within the building and swept the room. There were plenty of other vampires though not so many that you couldn’t move about. What caught her eye were the willing human waiters and waitresses that wandered about with drink trays to tend to their immortal patrons. “I’ll admit the music isn’t bad.” Ceara commented lightly as she looked around, having had a horrible dread that the music would be simply atrociously loud and over the top bass. “Let’s just hope their alcohol is the same.” Perhaps one of the things about running her own lounge and serving top tier alcohol meant you developed a pallette for the finer things.
