    The South

Although the southern parts of the city might not have the luxuries of the north or the down town vibe of the east, but these suburbs still have their own sort of charm. Here small neighborhood owned shops often run rampant, individuals often know each other by first name. The west is a quaint, quiet part of town. It's the sort of place where children can be seen playing safely on the sidewalks and clamoring in the park. On the weekends in the families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters that surround the city.

    Hyde Park

    Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

    The Outskirts

    The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often times seen as a way to guard this magical city from the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The warlock's gaze widened as he watched those bones snap and reform, his lover's form twisting and contorting in ways it certainly shouldn't have. He watched as softened skin transformed to fur and claws grew from those large black paws. He was still not entirely used to seeing that transformation, his breath caught within his throat as any further thoughts of those sexual activities and furthering their relationship was lost within those beginning trendles of fear that had settled within him. He watched as Henry's bright blue eyes narrowed, that large cat's jaws parting to reveal those sharpened teeth. "Henry…" His voice was soft in the wake of that growl, trying to call to whatever bit of humanity that there was within the man. He slowly shifted backwards on the bed and yet, the man remained ever aware of those large paws stalking him ever so closer. "Henry...everything's going to be okay…" He continued, trying to provide his lover with some hint of reassurance and yet, he found himself holding his breath as the creature closed that distance between them. He watched wearily as that tail flicked behind the man, those large claws leaving holes in the wake of their bedsheet and yet, nothing fully prepared the man for the way that paw rose.

Those claws immediately raked against the warlock's chest, slicing through flesh with more ease than he thought possible. Pain immediately filled his system and yet, Sterling hardly stayed there long, instead halfway throwing himself from the bed, that lack of clothing certainly not helping the man in the slightest as he hit the floor with a thud, the lamp from the bedside table crashing to the ground in the process. A groan left his lips though he knew better than to stay there for long. Sterling pushed himself to his feet, facing that large jungle cat as he slowly stepped away, his hands out in a fashion that attempted to show well that he was hiding nothing, not that it mattered much to the animal. "Henry...I need you to come back to me okay?" He uttered softly, still trying to reason with the animal. He watched as the creature shifted, moving off that bed and yet, the reality of the situation was that Sterling hardly had anywhere to go. The bathroom and front door to their cabin were on the opposite side of the room as him and he hardly wanted to unleash the animal onto the boat. If he could just get Henry under control, everything would be okay. Sterling paused the moment his back hit that wall, a single hand out reached towards the panther as if intending to pet the creature - weather or not that would make a difference, he hardly knew but what he was aware of was that slow trickle of blood that was beginning to trace it's way down his chest, even if he hardly dared to take his eyes off Henry's figure.
