    The South

Although the southern parts of the city might not have the luxuries of the north or the down town vibe of the east, but these suburbs still have their own sort of charm. Here small neighborhood owned shops often run rampant, individuals often know each other by first name. The west is a quaint, quiet part of town. It's the sort of place where children can be seen playing safely on the sidewalks and clamoring in the park. On the weekends in the families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters that surround the city.

    Hyde Park

    Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

    The Outskirts

    The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often times seen as a way to guard this magical city from the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Sterling heard the heavy thud of the paw on the door, those claws scraping and splintering that wood. Dear God, he hoped it held, he was in no state to further make an effort to escape. His breath was coming far too quickly now, the man was losing too much blood and the pain. He was in so much pain. It was with a soft groan that he tried to roll onto his side, his hands were slick with his own blood and yet, truly, the whole room felt as if it was moving. It made his head hurt. His vision was blurry and yet, in spite of all of this, Sterling reached towards the counter cabinets in front of him, hoping the crew had stowed away some first aid supplies for those 'just in case' sort of situations. Sterling hardly made it, however, before his hand fell limp and the boy lost all consciousness. His evening was spent upon that bathroom floor, drifting in and out of those states of wakefulness. Most of his wounds had stopped their bleeding on their own and yet, he'd quickly discovered in one rare moment of alertness that any real movement made his body feel as if it was on fire and that bleeding start all over again. Most of those glimpses of consciousness he'd had afterwards were merely spent laying there, whimpering in a fashion that was altogether pathetic and yet….he knew there was little else he could do but wait.

The warlock was entirely oblivious of the rise of that sun or the shift that had turned his boyfriend back to human. He hardly registered that bathroom door open. It was the scream that stirred him, bringing him to some state of half consciousness, his name echoed in that familiar voice brought a soft murmur from the man and then, those hands. A distinctly pained groan left his lips as Henry lifted him, that touch alone send fire down his spine where those marks had become so deeply embedded in the flesh of his back. It hurt. Everything hurt. That soft touch of sheets against his cold flesh was the only reprieve he felt - that screaming once again caused his eyebrows to furrow. It would have been so easy to return to that state of sleep - if only that voice was just a little quieter. He felt the soft genteel touches of Henry's fingers against his face, that action alone so saw the man struggle to open those bright blue eyes. It took him several moments to recognize the face that hovered over him and then, slowly, his lips shifted to a small, weak simper. "Henry…" His words were but a whisper, those syllables somehow more difficult to put together than usual. "You're….okay…" His voice trailed off, those blue eyes fluttering closed one again as he continued softly, "I'm so...glad." And then, he was once again lost to that blissful world of blackness.
